shortz.... |
Haz said you guys missed me. I'm sure he's lying.
Been listening hardcore to Taiga Remains-Fairing's Chapel (which I recommend to you if you want ambient/drone). Last month I found a new possible favorite album, Cylon's Resonanz (again, rec'd). And I've been listening to Koufar since I found out one of my friends went to school with him and could get me live tickets if I ever so chose. |
i hate the fact that your 14 years old but you have such good music taste that i cant hate you forever
|
Have you heard those two ambient ones? Not sure if you'd be too terribly into Cylon just because it's very meditational vs. the dark whatever I've seen you grow fond of prior. Taiga Remains though is up your alley.
EDIT: And thank you. |
i dont listen to much ambient so no
|
Yeah I've never seen too much Nazist ambient around which means I guess you haven't spent much time on it.
|
i didnt even know there was such thing. i do like dark ambient though with nature sounds. something a bit demonic in a way. something satanic like but not over the top and cheesy like a lot of projects do
|
sounds liek you need some moevot or amaka hahina bro

EDIT: And thank you.
sweet, youre back. always looking for some new dark ambient recs ok guys (jon too, this is dark ambient with nature sounds) i bought Solo Andata - Ritual blind at a record store last week and i gotta say i was pleasantly surprised. really well composed dark ambient with a great atmosphere that oscillates between intense and overbearing and light and ephemeral EDIT: the only links for fairing's chapel i were able to find were dead. would you mind upping them? |

don't enjoy NIN too much, but fuck when he hits on something it is powerful. |
NIN rules

Dial-up prohibits me to upload anything, sorry. I just got my copy from soulseek. Fairing's Chapel isn't dark ambient explicitly if that's what you're expecting. It's got a darker tinge but certainly not dark ambient.
In the meantime, I suppose you could check into Celer's Close Proximity and the Unhindered Care-All. Again not dark ambient but there's a certain sense of melancholy that's rather strong and it's got a chock-load of nature/field recordings. You might also enjoy Deep Listening by Pauline Oliveros, Stuart Dempster, Panaiotis. Not ambient, but still things I think you'll enjoy (and can hopefully find Live links for) Tohsimaru Nakamura's Egrets. |
God i missed you b4k
read your Black Swan review and was like fuck where did this kid go |

Cyclon rules btw. |
someone just make me a rec list of ambient and dark ambient that i should get thats really cool.
|
i heard cyclon was cloudgazing :amaze:
