^^They made that reference.

I can't find football anything enjoyable to watch. There is little to no action, little to no running...
Ive watched american football teams, as in our football, and i found it boring as hell. But watched European football, its totaly different.

jonesi1992 06-01-2005 11:13 AM

anyone watch england last nite

Understanding In a Crash 06-01-2005 11:14 AM

My complaints against professional footy is that there are too many players on the field, and the field is way too big.

The only reason it could be classified as hard work is because the field is so big and the games are so long without breakage, but they are WALKING most of the time.

chumpradio 06-01-2005 11:14 AM

Didn't even know we were playing.
What was the score and who was it against?

Understanding In a Crash 06-01-2005 11:15 AM

Also I like watching the country vs country games then the... other leagues.

jonesi1992 06-01-2005 11:15 AM

45 minutes isnt exactly long..... Theres only 22 players on the pitch, and the pitched vary in size.

I didnt watch england, i usualy watch all internationals, that are on the BBC anyway, but i didnt.

PowerArchiver is pissing me off at the moment. All I want to do is compress a couple of albums to put them on YSI but it keeps being stupid. If I try to add all the files at once, it doesn't add any of them, and if I do it a bit at a time, it overwrites the first lot with the second. Arrrrrgh!

Internationaly football is by far the best, and the england team is pretty good these days, so i like watching it even more.

Understanding In a Crash 06-01-2005 11:18 AM

I never understood how a coach ever mattered in footy really either considering it'd be so hard to scream across the field. Except for formations and substitutions and the halftime pep talk of "if we don't win, you guys are going to get flares thrown at your head"

Just trying to put them into an archive file so I can send them. The university compouters have proved themselves a little deficient in this field before though.

Truth. I probably quit actually playing football at age 14, but I still love the sport just not watching it. I can't respect what other countries take the sport too either. I used to play foward, sweep, and Goalie.

Rancid Dan 06-01-2005 11:39 AM

American Football is nothing compared to proper Football.

chumpradio 06-01-2005 02:45 PM

This new Foo Fighters cd, although some of the lyrics are cliché, is full of music which I enjoy, and I will definately buy it sometime soon.
