one kid i went to school with was so allergic to peanuts nobody else could eat them in the same room as him.

but he was also a giant douchebag, so he probably just exaggerated it.

Sunshine 02-28-2008 12:00 AM

I knew a guy who couldn't be in the same room as strawberries 'cause his allergies sucked so much.

fishbulb 02-28-2008 12:10 AM

Didn't peanuts on airplanes for that very reason?

Little Android Man 02-28-2008 12:12 AM

why the **** am i still up?

Sunshine 02-28-2008 12:13 AM

While this wasn't even close to a complete thought/sentence, I have a feeling I got what you meant anyway.

And yes.
That's why they stopped.

Seafroggys 02-28-2008 12:43 AM

My ex girlfriend would die if she ate raspberries. Which sucked since they are my favorite berry.

I don't have any drastic allergies, late spring early summer I get into random sneezing fits for no reason (dust, maybe?). I don't know.

I almost got pulled over. I was driving down the road by my house going to class this morning, I was going about 53 in a 45. This is the country mind you, a nice country road. It used to be 55 until somebody got killed for driving recklessly. Anyway, I turned a corner and there was a motorcycle cop sitting in someone's driveway. I don't think he really noticed me, or if he did didn't bother to go after me.

I don't want to have two tickets on record.

Ill Mitch 02-28-2008 12:47 AM

OMFG Bela Fleck and the Flecktones absolutely killed! Future man made me think about possibly picking up the synthe-axe drumitar.

TTTSNB 02-28-2008 12:48 AM

You wouldn't get pulled over for that, anywhere, unless...maybe if it's the end of the month. I almost got pulled over today too...but I was doing more like 57 in a 40 or something, around a fairly sharp turn. Thankfully someone pulled behind me just as he was about to pull out, so he didn't bother to try anything stupid. :)

Nice, where did you see them?

I saw them a couple years ago at Wakarusa, they were incredible. Jeff Coffin is amazing.

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2008 01:01 AM

i'd die if i drank a pint of industrial strength ammonia. i think it's the sugars in it that my body simply can't digest.

Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Yeah Jeff Coffin was insane.

Sunshine 02-28-2008 01:19 AM

Where's Phil, he seems to know summat 'bout piercings.
But anyway.

My industrial stopped crusting/gooping/being generally nasty and infected, which is awesome and generally [read: always] a good sign.
But now it stings like a mofo when I accidentally touch it, even just slightly.
And I have no idea why.
I mean, my boyfriend was here this weekend, and he kept hitting it overandoverandoverandover, so I think *maybe* the skin ripped a little on the top hole, which is the more sensitive of the 2 as far as places to have holes in your ear go, and I just gotta wait for the skin to fix itself, but I dunno?

BummerJonny 02-28-2008 01:49 AM

may still be damaged on the inside. my nipple did that, but it was also crusting...

Win A Rabbit 02-28-2008 01:56 AM

i think i'm the only person i know who has never been pierced.

Seafroggys 02-28-2008 01:56 AM
i think i'm the only person i know who has never been pierced.
I am with you too!

Unless you mean know in real life.

No piercings or tattoos, and it will stay that way!

Maybe an earring, I dunno.

Win A Rabbit 02-28-2008 02:00 AM

yeah irl.

most of my kids are pierced too, which is odd.

i'll prob get a tattoo and have thought about doing the whole ear-stretch thing (but just to like 0 gauge max) but so far i'm one of the few.

Sunshine 02-28-2008 02:03 AM

My boyfriend doesn't like tattoos at all, or most piercings.
He's very...plain, I guess, but I don't mind or nothin'.
Shocked the hell outta me though, said that if he ever found a super-cool piece of jewelry he'd get the appropriate piercing for it, so long as it was ear-related.

Gauges are nasty.

Win A Rabbit 02-28-2008 02:44 AM

i should buy some wicked used bowling shoes (for normal outdoor use) for like $20 total y/n?

they're like that disgusting retro yellow and pink, with velcro.

would prob use them as longboarding shoes.

Drum Phil 02-28-2008 05:32 AM

I used to love bowling shoes

Yeah as for allergies...i think im only allergic to being in the cold too long. I tend to get all stuff and my nose drips like crazy.

Should i go see Rush? I've already seen them once. My mom said she could get me tickets as a birthday present. I guess if i find a few friends to go then i'll go.
