I like the quote in Verbal Kint

"The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing Peter that Link 80 were actually any good"

Anthem was amazing. I have Atlas Shrugged sitting on my shelf, but its size intimdates me.

DaveToopes 01-09-2006 08:03 PM

After I read The Catcher In the Rye (I'm going for some indie cred yo!) I'll read Anthem. I really want to read Atlas Shrugged, but yeah, it's really big.

That's a really good book right there. I read it for my Classical Mythology class last semester.

Yeah, it mixes in a lot of different ideas. My version has really detailed notes which helps relate a lot of things.

Brain Toad 01-09-2006 08:17 PM

I still have $20 left of B&N money. I may go pick up Ecotopia and Ecotopia Emerging.

I didn't like Animal Farm. It wasn't interesting.

Brain Toad 01-09-2006 08:58 PM

So today I found out I have Cesar Chavez Day off school, which is March 31st. This is a very odd day to get off of school.

I also get both Lincoln and Washington's birthday off school, instead of the stupid catchall President's day

I didn't like it when we had to read it in 9th grade. Rereading it was so much better, though it's not like I read a lot of it in school.
