it was too OMG THE GOODGUYS WON
AGAIN and then they tried to make it all dark and sinister and ugh i got on the train too late i suppose. plus the movies kinda made my opinion on them worse
i guess you read the 90s spidey cause that was when the stupid dark stuff was going on. best times for spidey were in the 80s during roger stern run and 70s with gerry conway. bother were great writers and kept the spidey spirit intact but came up with some interesting twists and turns and don't judge comics by the movies. seriously read that blog post about comic movies i just posted. |
yo tim how do you like working at walgreens i have an interview there on monday
i know its mostly who runs my store that can make it tolerable/intolerable but is it pretty laid back as a whole or uptight? |

you guys don't know what real work is if you've only worked indoor jobs doing easy shit.
working at my dad's engineering firm has really taught me to appreciate hard work. we do physical labor out in the hot sun for 8+ hours ady. i'm not saying anyone should want to do blue collar work as a career but once you've done it you really learn the meaning of wokring hard and have a lot more respect for people that do that sort of thing for a living. once you have done real, physically taxing work that requires getting up early, lifting heavy shit and bein exposed to the elements you realize that your former jobs were cushy. you really don't realize how good you guys have it, you don't have much to complain about working inside and filling prescriptions. every one should have a hard physical job some time in their life to give them perspective. |
i only had 4 comics ever and they were all punisher and from different points in the timeline so in one he was in cuba, in one he was in the future, in another he was in some random city, and in the other he was a navy seal.
i had no fucking idea what was going on.
lmao |

yeah people really don't know how easy they have it at their cushy white collar jobs. it's so annoying hearing people complain about their job because it's "slow or boring" or "i had STOCK for so long man it was awful."
having a "slow" day is great at my job because on a regular day i'm out in 100 degree heat carrying 60 lb augers, shoveling dirt and screwing huge pipes together. if you don't come back from work exhausted then you didn't work hard. most people in america have never done a hard day's work in their life. |
