crazyguy832 02-27-2008 09:27 PM

Hah, you're lucky you don't have that bad of an allergy, fishy. It's so bad for me my eyes will swell up before I'm half done the front lawn. I take medication for it, but if I'm exposed to a lot of stuff... errr.... yeah... it sucks.

Win A Rabbit 02-27-2008 09:33 PM

so today was pretty pwn.

a group of youth 11-18 is in from out of town, they were doing a play at the junior high schools about domestic abuse.

we managed to get them to stay and do another one at night for parents/non-junior high kids.

so they had nowhere to go from 3:00 - 6:00, so all 35 of them and the adults with them came to my work and hung out, and we ordered like 10 pizzas and had a wicked time.

then we all went to the school and they performed, and it was amazing.

there was a lot of controversy about it because it's a real intense play about a serious topic (family violence) that everyone in town wants to just throw under the rug and pretend it's not happening. i'm glad my bosses didn't cave under all the hate going on.

Actually looks like a taller, slightly less crazy, botox'd and boob job'd version of my old art teacher.
Who WAS a super-old Jewish lady.

Indeed. In fact a relatively small part- although they can be a sizable plus, haha.

That's too bad, i don't get it very badly compared to some other allergies that people have.

crazyguy832 02-27-2008 10:11 PM

Ya think?

I could die if I ate a kiwi or had ibuprofen.

:smash:

Chippy569 02-27-2008 10:13 PM

i'd die if i couldn't eat kiwis!

Sunshine 02-27-2008 10:22 PM

Far as I can tell, I've got no allergies.
If I do, its to things I don't come in contact with ever.

And that reaaaally blows, crazy. I couldn't handle that at all.
Motrin is my medicine of choice.

crazyguy832 02-27-2008 10:28 PM

Hah, it's not so bad, you get used to it. I don't notice it often, aside from my numerous food allergies.

>_<

It's not normal allergies for the most part like kiwi... most foods I'm only slightly allergic to... such as bread, dairy, other good tasting stuff. Basically, I go around all day with a stomach ache. Life is fun. (I've tried non-gluten diets... yeah, it works... but it's not worth it, at all >_<... I just upped my dosage of pantaloc last week and so far it's working really well)

:smash:

When I look at it, my body really is a wreck.

XD

Ah, well, 's'all is good, it's why drugs were invented.

Win A Rabbit 02-27-2008 10:51 PM

i'm allergic to one kind of old spice deodorant. i get all rashy.

but all the other kinds i'm fine with.

and i think something to do with pizza dough. when i was a pizza cook, every now and then my forearms would get rashy where the dough would touch when i stretched it.

Same here besides the slight grass one.

Oddly enough my mom is allergic to dogs and cats (only for extended amounts of time), and almost all nuts on the planet yet i can eat anything.

crazyguy832 02-27-2008 11:07 PM

"Extended amounts of time" simply means that she isn't very allergic to them. Everyone can handle a certain level of allergens, it's just that once they reach that level they have a reaction. It's kinda like a water balloon.

fishbulb 02-27-2008 11:08 PM

She is really crazy with nuts. If a nut that she is allergic to is on the same table as her meal she'll get a reaction, it's intense.
