Well, not when you're dealing with Kissing the Shadows, Silent Night, Bodom night etc that are pretty fast to start with, just makes our lives difficult and we don't need that, at least I don't.

Kissing the shadows is an exception :)

Hello.

If any of you live in Vancouver, CoB will be doing an instore at Scrape Records in November. Just thought you guys might be interested.

\m/ \m/

MRDuCran 10-29-2005 06:50 PM

Is that like record signing and autographs and stuff?

ATC 10-29-2005 06:53 PM

Yep, record signing(not just theirs, related bands as well), autographs, pictures, stuff like that.

Cryptopsy and Opeth did their instores there this month as well.

blue3 10-29-2005 06:58 PM

That's awesome. Too bad I live in Calgary.

MRDuCran 10-29-2005 07:09 PM

Yeah, I don't even know where Vancouver is...

blue3 10-29-2005 07:09 PM

Canada

MRDuCran 10-29-2005 07:19 PM

Oh right, pretty dam far from England then haha.

blue3 10-29-2005 07:28 PM

Yeah really. CoB better tour here soon.

Shadows 10-29-2005 07:31 PM

They are touring you fool.

blue3 10-29-2005 07:34 PM
They are touring you fool.
Yeah, I know they're touring. I meant in Calgary.

Shadows 10-29-2005 07:35 PM

Aren;t they going somewhere near there? I couldn't imagine them touring the US and not going all over Canada.

blue3 10-29-2005 07:38 PM

The only places in Canada they're going to are Vancouver and Toronto. And no, none of those are near Calgary.

Shadows 10-29-2005 07:39 PM

Wow, that's pretty surprising, and disappointing to Canananananadians.

Definitely.

Could someone tell me how to upload my song onto the contest page?

Shadows 10-29-2005 07:45 PM
Definitely.

Go to YSI, on the "select file" bar thing click "browse" and select the file to upload, and click the :upload" button on the bottom. Once it's finished, it will give you a link, which you will copy and paste into a post.

Yep. I'm glad I'm American sometimes.

Thanks a lot. I almost couldn't get it into MP3 format, it was close there for a minute.

MRDuCran 10-29-2005 09:43 PM

For those who care..... It's shows a little of my keyboard chops even though it's lathered with wah.

EDIT: It's not necessarily for the competitioin as I don't think it's thrash enough but if they alow it, why not.

Shadows 10-29-2005 09:58 PM

I'm starting to think I won't be entering. :(

Hah, I was wondering what that cool lick was.. at first I thought was clean guitar ! That's sounding awesome, I'm sure it'll be accepted but you may get docked for the whole keyboard thing.

 The new Exodus album is fucking insane!

Random it was. Why won't you enter? You'll regret it if it's Polka Metal next month. :p

I'd like to, but my motivation for writing thrash is virually non-existent. I like to enter these, but I really don't care about this one. I'll do the next genre, but there's still a slight chance I'll do this one.

NP: Exodus - Karma's Messanger

Moses 10-29-2005 10:28 PM

Well the thing is, is that after that last part there's a run on the piano that leads into a piano only part for a couple seconds. If we were having a prog comp then it'd be in there.

MRDuCran 10-29-2005 10:52 PM

I felt like uploading some backing tracks...

That's awesome, where did you get these?? This will keep me entertained for hours, thanks.

MRDuCran 10-29-2005 11:00 PM

They were acquired from guitarbt.com.

repcak 10-30-2005 03:38 AM

wow... thank you so much.

... and i think i won't go to both concerts... each concert 30€; so i have to pay 60€ and there isn't included the train-tickets... hm... that would cost me approximatly 100€... too much for me :upset: ... well, one concerst should be enough and there is still hope i will see them in summer on a metal-festival
