Hey Beans you live in Bend right? Me and some friends and my girlfriend might be going to that area for a winter break trip, you get lots of snow right?

yeah i do.

we definitely get a lot of snow. it can be hard to get around the town sometimes and the people here are driving more and more like idiots everyday but its a pretty fun town to come and visit.

Yeah I was a bit worried about the road situation when they suggested Bend but I wanna go somewhere with lots of snow and cool scenery where we can just hang out and go on random adventures and the like. Most of the places on the other side of the state that get lots of snow are kind of boring but I like the Bend area because it's really open and has a lot of different scenery we don't have here.

for sure, then for what you're looking for Im pretty sure you'd have a good time here, downtown is especially awesome to walk around in the winter. Just make sure you drive something with all terrain tires or something. you'll get stuck so fast.

do either of you do any snowboarding or hiking or anything of that nature?

Hiking for sure, I like to go on day hikes and occasionally do a backpacking deal but in the snow that's a lot of work, way too much equipment to bring for overnight stuff. As far as snowboarding and the like is concerned I can't say I'm too involved in it but I like to ski on occasion, but it's been a couple years...

for sure, im in the same boat man i dont do it much anymore since i hurt my knee. if you just stay in the general bend area you should have a pretty good time, there's a lotta good bars downtown as well. should shoot me an email when you're in town and ill take you guys to some places i know.
