Haha, metaphors make me smile generally.

Just that my english teacher said that american people have a slightly different sense of humour and they don't understand sarcasm, or something.
We do have a different sense of humor. Most Americans I know think Brit humor is stupid, but most of us like Monty Python and such. But we do understand sarcasm, we just use it differently.

Congrats on the 12k :)

HomeCatMickey8 01-19-2006 02:51 PM

Haha, I would've laughed too if I caught it. Sometimes I let things like that slip by me.

/is trying to work up enough motivation to go work on doing productive stuff.

Vince, you slay me.

In all honesty i think theres a lot of americans who are too stupid to understand oiur humour, or any form of sarcasm what so ever.

So I'm organizing my music right now. All you soulseek whores will appreciate this immensely :D My music will be a million times easier to browse.

B 01-19-2006 04:02 PM

I hardly download music anymore :(

Permanent Solution 01-19-2006 04:06 PM

Downloading is the sex.

I run out of new and exciting music so fast nowadays :(

My latest branching is Latin and Jazz. I'm exploring those currently.

B 01-19-2006 04:09 PM

I used to be able to just think of a band and download them but now I can't. I already downloaded stuff from all the bands I've heard of almost. And I'm just too lazy to open soulseek.

Untitled 01-19-2006 04:11 PM

Im bored of music.

I find myself listening to a lot of older pop-punk now, like 1980s, 1990s stuff.

B 01-19-2006 04:13 PM

Me too Butler.

Just most will be outside your usual music tastes :-\

I'm downloading music off this site currently; http://www.7inchpunk.com/

Puma 01-19-2006 04:23 PM

Downloading music is wrong. >_>

Permanent Solution 01-19-2006 04:24 PM

Psh, no way.

I buy a good majority of what I download after I download it. If I enjoy it, I buy it, simple.

Puma 01-19-2006 04:27 PM

I buy alot of CD's. But I download alot too. It's mostly the issue of, I can't find alot of good music in stores around here, so downloading/burning or buying online are my only options.

Gnarmageddon 01-19-2006 04:30 PM

 It's Ste and Kev. Sup guys?

:eek::eek::eek:
The new EP, Never Trust A Hippy, is coming March 14th and we got some cover art and a tracklisting for you to check out. 2 of these 6 songs will be appearing later on their full length, Wolves In Wolves Clothing, which is coming out April 18th.

Tracklisting:

1: Seeing Double At The Triple Rock *
2: The Marxist Brothers *
3: Golden Boys
4: Youre Wrong
5: Everything In Moderation (Especially Moderation)
6: Im Going To Hell For This One

* from their upcoming full length Wolves In Wolves Clothing

To set the record straight regarding the upcoming Wolves album, its 18 songs, about 35 minutes, there are NOT any hip-hop beats, nor is it influenced by Cream or whatever. Members of the NOFX 7 Club might recognize a few songs, but they are different versions. Check back often to get the straight dope on the new record, a secret SF show, mp3s, etc.

In other news Fat Wreck Chords has signed some rad new bands and you all should add them to your friends list:

Yeah, almost all the Metal I have is downloaded because of that scarcity issue. Or if they do have it, it's like $20.

Snoisrucxe 01-19-2006 04:38 PM
Downloading music is wrong. >_>
Not if it's rare and there is only like 100 pressings of these albums ever made, I don't think it is.

Permanent Solution 01-19-2006 04:43 PM

Just thought I'd share with all of you...
