Meh why was the Delson page thread closed?

I was looking for quite a debate there. :(

Was it counted as a vs? or wrong forum?

you were this ---><--- close to a 7 day ban last night. I spent some time reviewing your posting habits and found that you post far more to the good than bad. I urge you, if you plan to be a productive member of the R&M community, to go read and remember the rules for our part of the forum.

It was turning into a vs thread.

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8897926
This should be closed, we have enough GNR threads.

clearvision 07-27-2005 03:18 PM

And the Funeral for a friend thread?

I think he may have wanted to talk to rock fans about the band. Since he tried to compare them to NiN/Pearl Jam. Once people realised the thread was staying open it could have presented a good discussion.

Meh.

Follow The Reaper 07-27-2005 03:38 PM

He was asking not talking about it FFAF was emo.

clearvision 07-27-2005 03:49 PM

Yeah I know, but i felt it could have developed. Nevermind.

Cain 07-27-2005 07:54 PM

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=354944

It is time to close this. It is showing no signs of dying but it has needed to for the past three weeks or so. The last thirty pages, I'll wager has consisted of Steerpike angrily slamming down the door on every noob that comes in with a dumb suggestion. It is advancing itself currently because nobody is going to read a 65 page thread in its entirety to ensure that their idea hasn't already been thought of, so they post and Steerpike "bitch slaps" and on and on. Nothing against Steerpike, he's held down the fort for a long while. But the activity in there has been so circular that the thread is doing absolutely nothing useful.
