DJ Ducksauce 01-18-2006 09:59 PM

Wow, so I put on Jack Johnson that I got from Spence, and it's pretty cool to chill to. It's nice.

Bye Again.

Permanent Solution 01-18-2006 10:00 PM

Jack Johnson is lame.

That acoustic Indie trend blows.

Ace 01-18-2006 10:01 PM

 Night everyone.

Pazz 01-18-2006 10:02 PM

Yeah, I'm slowly but surely leaving.

DJ Ducksauce 01-18-2006 10:03 PM

:upset:

Hey, it is my first listen though.

Bye x 3.

Yessss.

I'm not the only one!

RIP Ian Curtis 01-18-2006 10:44 PM

I hate that horrible shi't. You Americans are lucky that you don't get John Butler over there. That guy blows harder than a cyclone destroying a South Coast city.

Eh, we get Jack Johnson and Conor Oberst. That's plenty enough. Bright Eyes is so well acclaimed too so that makes it a million times worse.

CommieCanada 01-18-2006 10:58 PM

i like bright eyes

wouldnt say they are life changing or anything but i like them

Boo Andy

I can't get over his vocals...at least in Bright Eyes. I've liked them in other projects of his, but I want to strangle him when I hear Bright Eyes.

i HATED him in The Faint though

Eh, people say that about ots of vocalists I dislike. I also hate Bob Dylan, though not solely for vocals.

I've not heard the Faint, but I do like Desaparecidos.

the faint is like pseudo-industrial music

if the postal service mixed with Lords of Acid and bright eyes, it would be the faint

Hmm, I just downloaded the postal service to see what I think of them...but this does sound like a bad combination heh. Much as I can like Industrial music (NIN, Marilyn Manson).

Jom 01-18-2006 11:17 PM

AHHHHHHHH THE FAINT ARE TERRIBLE!

They're like... electronic dance noise.

Three of my friends who are the stereotypical indie kids fellate at the sound of The Faint. I went out and got Danse Macabre to see what the buzz was and I almost died. Big mistake on my part, haha.

I can't see the appeal, but I guess they're pretty big here

You want industrial you gotta listen to Throbbing Gristle. "We Hate You Little Girls", "Zyklon B. Zombie" are two awesome tracks.

And Permanent Solution, we get all your crappy exported bands, plus our own local home grown boring hippies with acoustic guitars.

College is for 16-18 year olds, and then you go to uni at 18, which is the same as college, Over your side of the world.
