No grades in the world will save you from boredom.

Where is everyone tonight?

Jamie 02-09-2005 08:40 AM

Skit I never knew you were from the UK! Where do you live?

I've actually got my GCSE's soon. (starting 6th June, ending 17th June)

Im not really nervous about them though because I know I can get at least 5 A*-C's out of 9.

meh... I've got a cold... has anyone else caught this really bad flu going round?

gaslight 02-09-2005 08:42 AM

Nope I haven't been sick for a few months. Last time I was sick though yeah it was with a really servere flu type thing.

Jamie 02-09-2005 08:56 AM

Afternoon Luke. How are you?

I want an xbox!! But im completely broke....

What would be better?

a) Use the £100 i have to buy a new phone to replace my rubbish old Nokia 3410
b) Keep the crappy phone and put the money towards my birthday where I can buy an xbox with halo 1 and 2

gaslight 02-09-2005 08:58 AM

I'd go for the X-Box and games there.

bassist-bmxer 02-09-2005 09:01 AM

I'm ok thanks, i woke up really late though, and now i feel really down.

nisakss 02-09-2005 09:08 AM
I'm ok thanks, i woke up really late though, and now i feel really down.
Yeah, that happens to me all the time.....ussually when I sleep too much I feel down the whole day.

Jamie 02-09-2005 09:12 AM

Im checking Ebay and it seems I could get one with what I want for about £150...

Yeah, I woke up at 2 (went to bed at 5) so I feel crap too.

Any news on the bike selling yet? Just, my dad is on my back for the money for the effects pedal... hehe

gaslight 02-09-2005 09:12 AM

Yeah I feel down a lot. I don't think it's related to sleeping for me though.

But playing guitar and bass are a great way to get rid of the feeling most of the time.

Anyone seeing any gigs soon?

I'm seeing Isis this friday, and then Shadows Fall next friday.

Really? cool! My bass teacher absolutely loves them!

Sadly enough, I should have been at green day last night but the bitch I was buying a ticket off sold it to someone else even though she had my f***ing money... So im really p!ssed off about that.

Theres never any good bands play where I live anymore though, Its all either punk rock or emo...

Skit 02-09-2005 09:17 AM
Skit I never knew you were from the UK! Where do you live?
I live in cleethorpes (doubt you've heard of it) its a fare few miles away from hull (if you know where that is :p )

Oh and you only need 4 A-C's to get into most stuff in college - if you plan on going - Good luck :thumb:

nisakss 02-09-2005 09:22 AM

Do you think this is U2's last tour??? I'm asking cause I've got some money saved, which is actually intended to buy a car (I don't need it so much), but it would be enough to get a ticket for the Madison Square Garden concert, and a friend of mine already has a couple of tickets. I don't know, but would it be worth it to spend a whole years saving in a one week trip??? But on the other hand, I've always wanted to see them live, and btw get to see NY.

gaslight 02-09-2005 09:23 AM

Go with whatever makes you happiest man.

Jamie 02-09-2005 09:24 AM

Cool!! Iv been to Cleethorpes on holiday once! Isn't there a Thorpe Park or something there? What area of the country is it in? (I live in Durham, NE UK)

Im planning on doing a BTEC national in Music Practice, then going to Uni and complete a masters degree (5 years) in Sound Engineering. (Hopefully I'm going to the same Uni as wintermute... :) )

gaslight 02-09-2005 09:26 AM
