Anyway, I've asked myself the same question. Turned out, the answer was due to a lot of things. One of the main ones being that I wasn't really trying like I should.

The first week of the next semester when I have all my new classes and meet lots of new girls, I've made it a goal to collect at least a half-dozen phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

The local bars here aren't that great unfortunately. The patrons are always either middle-aged sports fanatics watching a Ravens game, or frat boys trying to elbalm themselves with JD.

It's just that I'm very stubborn. I respect that my friends and family all have their own responsibilities, and that none of their own lives revolve around me. Why should a girlfriend be any different? She has her own life, or at least she should.

And if I'm going to be dating her, she should respect the fact that I have my own life as well. I have my own goals, ambitions, and responsibilities.
