That low?
How come?

I really enjoyed how they put in another 'Who's the bad guy?' part. With the soldiers shooting everyone during the code red.
i will ask you after a week once again.
normally you like a film after you've seen it and afterwards you rethink afterwards and your opinion changes.

I loved "Sin City" after i've seen it - worst movie i've ever seen, some weeks later.

28 weeks later was ok, but not as good as the former film - its medicore. therefore 6.5; it has good ideas, yes - but overall, the camera, the lights, the story, the mistakes (!!), the unlogical things that happens... no thanks ;)

ATM 04-09-2008 01:45 PM

I wreck people in WC3.

FreeSmells 04-09-2008 01:45 PM

New Shai Hulud track anyone?

Which unlogical things.

repcak 04-09-2008 01:48 PM

zombies from nowhere.
the father of those, arrives all the time from nowhere...

ATM 04-09-2008 01:48 PM

Said it in the grind thread, but I am excited.

Interviewing drummer from Torche/ Shitstorm on Friday :D :D

Ghoul Hustler 04-09-2008 01:49 PM

I'm really bad at War3 since I mainly play bots. They are so annoying. Luckily building a ton of towers makes them confused.
The Biggest Loser is a far more wholesome concept than the grand majority of television, I don't see what the problem is at all. If it can inspire someone to change themselves, what the hell is the problem?
Yeah, the point of the show is great. Way better than most shit out there.

gmoneyguy 04-09-2008 01:49 PM

jerk him off into a cup, and send the cup to me.

I already watched it for the first time 2 weeks ago, I rewatched it just. :p
So I guess my opinion won't change that much.
But I'm also a sucker for zombie movies and for post apocalyptical stuff, so you alreasy have me there.
Nonetheless, I liked it.

I went to see No Country For Old Men, for the second time yesterday. I love that movie, can't wait till it hits stores here.
zombies from nowhere.

The part with the dad showing up every time is kind of sketchy, but it also gives it a bit more dimension.
With the infected not being totally brainless and mindless.
If they keep it on this level, I'm ok with it.

repcak 04-09-2008 01:50 PM

btw. have anyone of you seen "REturn of the Living Dead"? 2nd film of the quadrology (?);
well, right now i realize that 28 days/weeks later has very near connections with the saga of Romera (the father of all zombie-films)
-> the idea of the plot is very similar!

Ghoul Hustler 04-09-2008 01:51 PM

kind of. 28 * Later focuses more on humanity and world wide struggle with the breakout

Moon Flavor 04-09-2008 01:53 PM

eh. any of those zombie movies that came out after the original were pretty much copies for the most part

Ghoul Hustler 04-09-2008 01:54 PM

except for the fact that 28 Weeks Later is the best ever :)

I have it on DVD.
I like Russo's take on the zombies.
Nothing beats Romero's fillms though.
He's the creator of zombies in films.

repcak 04-09-2008 01:54 PM

Zombies are not "braindead"

Return of the Living dead: "BRAIN" "BRAIN"... what do you want? "BRAIN" :smash:
why? "It feels so good"

White Zombie came out in the early 30s so that was really the first. Romero definitely made the perfect formula though.
New Shai Hulud track anyone?
I like it. Hopefully the album will be of the same quality.

repcak 04-09-2008 01:58 PM

yes, Romero "created" the Zombies in the way we know them now.
The Zombies in the pre-Romero era were different... and more or less "just" dead and in connections with vampires (as far as i know).

Moon Flavor 04-09-2008 01:59 PM
except for the fact that 28 Weeks Later is the best ever :)
Yeah I could agree with that... unless the Evil Dead movies count, specifically Evil Dead 2

Hell yeah man I've listened to it about 5 times in a row now haha.

Tyler 04-09-2008 02:00 PM

They aren't really zombies in ED2, even though they're undead. The people behind 28 * Later say they arent zombies in those films either.

Tyr 04-09-2008 02:02 PM
Hell yeah man I've listened to it about 5 times in a row now haha.
Do you know when it's supposed to be released? I forget the date.

repcak 04-09-2008 02:04 PM

BEST: Evil Dead
follows by: Romero & Shaun of the Dead
follows by 28 * later

:)

if ED counts then putting ED above ED2 is ridiculous. Also, I'm going to see the musical again soon :)

Something we can all agree on!

gmoneyguy 04-09-2008 02:12 PM
