Take a look to the sea, my son Be aware of the dipsets the waves are carrying on Take a look to the earth, my son The whole of England is awaiting for the dipset from the North |
filosofem is slowly taking over burzum's self titled as a personal favourite
det som engage var had some great songs on it as well, but neither seem to flow quite the same as these two albums. i have more listening to do. |
what the hell does this even mean? This is what too many one-night-stands with older men you met on the Internet does to impressionable young boys.
ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha A+ |

However, Dauði Baldrs remains the trve favorite for hardcore Burzum fans. |
Just got back from the Wolves in the Throne Room show. It was great, they were surprisingly a superb live band though. Anti-social bunch however; I don't think they said a word besides their lyrics.

They're an interesting lot http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/feature/45864-column-show-no-mercy (WITTR interview down in the middle) |
The opening bands weren't bad either. I saw Inquinok for the 3rd time and I still really like them for gay symphonic black metal.
There was this other stoner/drone band called Trees. Worst ****ing **** ever. It was a 50-year-old guy in cowboy boots singing over intrusive drumming and audible bass lines. Thank god they only played like two songs. WITTR used this lame smoke machine that almost ruined it. I was hugging the rail and it got all in eyes and it was really all I could see. |

I've never heard quite anything as dizzying and ethereal as the guitars on that album, the keyboard work compliments it perfectly. I love the nuances of production when listening to it through headphones, its rough but theres a lot to admire. I can't stop listening to Dunkelheit and Jesus Tod. |

I like Elffor; I hope that doesn't make me a Jewish poser.
WITTR used this lame smoke machine that almost ruined it. EDIT - @ Meatplow, the drumming on Jesus Død is ... hypnotic. I halfway understand Bokmål from Swedish so that helps as well. |
i caught the henry rollins reference lol
yeah, it is. its like a throwback to ea lord of deeps but the ambience takes it to a new level |

That's because Elffor are good. |
That's because Elffor are good.
The Lonely Mountain is so LOL. If someone ever produced an 8-bit remix of it (à les Zelda games), the fabric of the Universe would burst asunder from the epic absurdity. |
