terrible digs tbh =[

Not entirely flavorful for my palette...if that's a live version then she keeps up nice, although her voice is kind of husk-y...musically its your cut-n-dry electropop.
Better than the evanescence you've been diggin alltime. |

noice,
check out Drum Island (same people as Royksopp, even some of the samples are recognizable), only one album made in 1996 I believe. |
I've been digging Chet Faker lately, it's really good for that chill, groovy feeling, especially if it is sunday morning 10:30 am and the sun is shining inside.
He has made an excellent cover of 'No diggity' (yes, by blackstreet) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-edoet4RwY |
Yeah, Chet Faker is great.
I just discovered this singer-songwriter from New Zealand, he's just getting started but definitely has potential. Kinda reminds me of Jeff Buckley, Bon Iver, Ben Harper etc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVt2uDxqEXo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rS0Ln8Fbfe4 www.facebook.com/jessewillmusic |
At the moment:
Chromatics - Chromatics (2012) One my favourite albums of 2012. An awesome electronic/indie album. The Sundays - Reading, Writing & Arithmetic (1990) A brilliant jangle-pop album from 1990. Harriet Wheeler is fast becoming one of my favourite female vocalists ever. Stereolab - Switched On (1992) A compilation of the earliest singles and EPs. As good as their albums are I think Stereolab were a better singles and EPs band. Great stuff. |
