Yeah, mx has been bitchin' for a while now. But apparently it's working for at least a little while. Listening to rapper's delight. Hip, hop, hip to the hippy, hip, hip, hop ya' don't stop rocking to wham bam boogie of this hip hop hippity beat.

That sounds pretty great man. I can't really complain. My cousin gave me this guy's number to talk about getting a job and I called him yesterday and told him why I called. He seemed like he had no interest in why I called him? I was kind of confused. He said something like "well you can come in and i'll see if I have something for you to do...If you could come in today that would be alright." Personally, I don't feel like taking a half hour drive to see if he "has something for me to do"...I'll guess i'll give him a call again sometime over the weekend...

Thonk 07-07-2006 12:49 AM

blegh. I can't decide if I want to take my money from selling my Digitech pedal and my birthday money to get a Line 6 pod off of eBay (for guitar and might use for bass) or spend most of that money on a Small Clone and DOD250 and EQ pedal for bass...

On another note, I had to back up all my music last night because I reinstalled Windows....30+GB of music. :p

I say get the Small Clone and all that. The Pods are nice for recording, but not live unless you have the Pod xt Live. And the guitar one want be as good as the bass one for bass. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Thonk 07-07-2006 01:16 AM

I would be getting the Live. I don't really need those effects. I'm leaning towards the POD because I'll be using it as a headphone amp for my guitar.

Thonk 07-07-2006 01:22 AM

I'm off.

'night.

da_s_man13 07-07-2006 02:27 AM

You got your Cort yet?

Home recording is so confusing/complicated. I'm trying to figure out how I can do solo recording with drums, vocals, bass, sampler, synth, keyboard etc through a 16 channel mixer into an 8 track 2 input 2 sync rec MTR, with rerecording back through mixer for semi-a$$ed mastering ... I'm stuck at the point where I need to pipe just 2 tracks from the MTR back into the mixer then back into the MTR on two 2 tracks for re-EQ'ing/compressing etc, but still be able to hear the other recorded tracks ... I'm trying to figure out how to hijack the mono aux bus on the MTR for stereo ... it just don't fit!! GAH!

Someone buy me a 16 input MTR already!
