I'm thinking I'll try and become a regular, afterall- this is the forum that made me sign up at mx.

I think ill start coming around here more often... don't really know why i havn't been..

I don't know any of these new people. None of them will even give stanza by stanza critiques. They just pat eachother on the butt with little 3 sentance crits, then ask for a crit on their own piece.

If even one would give me a decent critique every one in a while, rather than just saying something stupid and asking me to waste my time reading their trash, perhaps I'd give critiques back.

The only regulars left are ATC, Super_Deluxe, me, Subtle, DFelon, and some other people who do the LCs. The rest drift in and out.

i like quite a few bright eyes songs but the other new cd digital ash in a digital urn just sucked. probably the worst album

I'm Wide Awake It's Morning is a generic album that any half-assing singer songwriter could produce in a month (just like Conor). Digital Ash, even though most of the songs sucked, was better than IWAIM. Both albums were pretty much trash though.

I locked my keys in my car at a grocery store, and I had to wait an hour for my mom to get there and unlock it so I could drive home. :(

ah man, that sucks... Fortunately my car has central locking, so I can't do that (or I'd have to be fairly absent-minded to do so)

Still, my handbrake failed on christmas day last year, and the **** car rolled back and somehow missed the kerb which would have stopped it dead, but hit the only car on the road instead. No damage whatsoever to my car, but a hefty dent in the side of the other car. Cost me £700 in the end.

That sucks.

hmmm - I still wouldn't go as far as saying the overall quality is good, but at least now there's some deviation from the bog-standard wannabe-'emo' (note quotation marks) crap that was all the rage six months ago.

Yeah, I know what you mean. At least now there is some shi[color=white]tty[/color] metalcore and generic alt/rock thrown into the mix. Some of the writers have potential though.

yeah, there's been a couple of good lines thrown into the mix of crud recently - it's helped, because it's made critting less of a chore.

Do you follow cricket, by the way?

you're probably right....me=unoriginal insults :(....but I split with my band and my guitarist and i left to joina couple other guys and the new band is much better, so i'm happy :)
