^^^^^^^sorry to hear that but yeh bon scott died right befor back in black but personally i think that brain johnson is much better
|
Haha, three points for making laugh.
You do realise that Back in Black was written after Bon Scott died? Which makes it impossible for him to have sang a version...
Yes I laughed then got angry at the stupidity. I want my neg rep button back. |
Wahoo. I just watched a music quiz show and they did a good 5 minutes on the Jailbreak video. I got none of it right as ive never seen the video before. But it was good to see.
|
I love Jailbreak. The album as a whole wasn't great, but the song is awesome.
|
When I first heard Jailbreak I could have sworn it was "It's a long way to the top". But obviously then I realised is wasn't. This was back in the day when I wasn't too knowledgable of AC/DC. Bad times...
The video for Jailbreak is good. Angus is dressed in a jail outfit playing guitar, and when the lyrics 'But he made it out, with a bullet in his back' are sung, Bon Scott is running and Malcolm and I think its Angus, shoot bullets into the ground. Bon scott falls... Pretty much a classic. |

Whats on that album. I dont need it as I have the australian albums. |
Tracklist for '74 Jailbreak:
1. Jailbreak 2. You Ain't Got A Hold On Me 3. Show Business 4. Soul Stripper 5. Baby, Please Don't Go |
Oh ok. Actually I think 2,3,4 and 5 are the songs from the Australian High Voltage that didn't end up on the american one.
|
You are correct sir.
|
Too bad they didn't put all unreleased internationally songs on there that would have been great for the big fans that dont live in Australia.
|

Why do you want a track list though? |
The title hasnt even been anounced yet so no.
I thought they did have the title? I don't recall it but I know I've heard something. Must have been a rumor. |
Yeah strap it on was a rumour spread by someone on a different forum.
|
Ahh, that's what I was thinking of. And last I heard it was supposed to be out this month...also a rumor I guess.
|
Yeah it's unfortunate I had my hopes up when I first heard that. Im not even sure itll be released this year.
|

Yeah, that is what I had heard as well |
Well just forget anything you hear unless its official.
|
Do you mean "AC/DC - Family Jewels'?
Thats a DVD that the band are realising this month, which features around 40 videos and clips. For £15.99, It's a classic already. But, an actual CD from the band is a total rumour. |
Yeah the DVD is for real its all over the ac/dc sites.
|
Im not even sure itll be released this year.
It will be released this year, in guitar world they said they would be writing in June/July, but that was in 2003. My guess iss it will be released in June/July or Maybe if were lucky May :thumb: |
I was just thinking about something. You see in Australia AC/DC is commonly reffered to as accadacca (its just easier to say). Is Australia the only country to do this?
|
AC/DC is a decent band. Most of their songs sound the same to me. Angus is an over rated guitar player. But they do rock and I must salute them for that. They have put out alot of records and most of them are pretty good.
Maybe you have repeat on your cd changer on?? |
I was just thinking about something. You see in Australia AC/DC is commonly reffered to as accadacca (its just easier to say). Is Australia the only country to do this?
No I do and Im from New Zealand. But I've only started calling em this since that transvistite in Australian Idol sang "Shook me all night long" and Dicko said "Theres probaly some Biker sitting down choking on his hotdog and goin "Wooaaa whos that chick ripping off Accadacca, Uh shes pretty hot tho" |
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggguuuuuuuuuuuuuussssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllccccccccccccccccccoooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
first off, so what if AC/DC songs sound the same, they figured out that if they have riffs that are good, USE THEM MORE THAN ONCE. second, i heard the new album was coming out in June. i can't wait 'till they tour becasue it will be my first time to get to see them live
|
yeah thats a fair call, they used the same scales and very noticably the same drum beats over and over (basic rock beat) but they were smart with it. they made millions with those tracks that were basically the same, catchy tracks that even i (a guitarist) could do the drumming to

AC/DC songs sound the same but they have done so much with it and made truly great songs out of a 4/4 Beat and basic rock drumming. I can't wait to see them live for the first time either, gearing up for it already. |
and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllccccccccccccccccccoooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
your an idiot |

It's Malcolm dumbass. Note the sarcasm :naughty: |
i think that phil rudd has to be one of the best timing drummers i have ever heard, what do you guys think?
|
and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllccccccccccccccccccoooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, you're cool. Malcolm > Angus. Discuss. |
i think that phil rudd has to be one of the best timing drummers i have ever heard, what do you guys think?
Hes not that great. And if he is he doesnt show it. But thats the magic of AC/DC nice easy beat. |
Chris Slade>Phil Rudd, in my probably controversial opinion. I'm speaking here more on taste than talent though. I couldn't tell you which one is more skilled but I liked Chris' work better.
|
Yeah chris is great but when you think about it the drummer doesnt really matter as he doesn't have any input into the songs anyway. I cant even think if any AC/DC songs that have fills.
|
I prefer Phil Rudd, cool character and the original drummer. High Voltage is probably the most creative drumming from AC/DC I can think of and thats not very creative at all, but ya gotta love acca dacca.
