I'm addicted to The Conjuring. I can't stop listening to it.
Same here, It's definitly in my top 3 or 4 Megadeth songs, and somehow it keeps popping up on my playlists.

I really like how the tapping and the voice are much more audible in the re-masters.

ForiegnPenguin 12-26-2004 07:53 PM

Thats a great song.
got every megadeth reissue for x-mas
nice!
Lucky. I only need Peace Sells But Whos Buying(Have it, just not remastered) and Risk.

CaptainWaits 12-26-2004 08:04 PM

Gotta get me "Killing is my Business, and Bussine is Good", "Risk"(probably sucks) and "The System Has Failed", and then I have em all

ForiegnPenguin 12-26-2004 08:10 PM

Killing is my Buiness is a classic. I'm afraid to buy Risk from what I've heard.

ThrashMaster27 12-26-2004 09:34 PM

I wouldn't buy Risk, although if you're a big enough fan to buy all the other albums, it's probably a must. There's a few half decent songs on the album, but it's not really Megadeth.

RiceMonster 12-26-2004 09:38 PM

Get Killing is My Buisness first. It's excellent.

ThrashHead 12-26-2004 09:48 PM

I have risk... to me, it's a total dissapointment. I really dislike it. I almost bought the system has failed. My friend let me borrow it a while back... but I wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend 15 bucks on it. It's okay cd, but I'll wait to buy it when the price goes down. Or just borrow and burn it. I should have done that in the first place.

SanitariuMel 12-26-2004 10:44 PM

Yeah risk was pretty sad, but there are a FEW okay songs. I have it just because I had to get all their albums.

I actually liked TSHF. I thought it was an improvement over most of the stuff since Countdown. That's just my opinion though, because I wasn't a huge fan of Youthanasia.

I like it to. Youthenasia has a few good songs on it.

I agree, TSHF is a great album. I listen to it almost everyday.

RiceMonster 12-26-2004 11:57 PM

When The System Has Failed first came out everyone was going on about how good it is. Now everyone seems not to like it

Freezing Moon 12-27-2004 12:34 AM
I like it to. Youthenasia has a few good songs on it.
I liked a few songs, but the only ones that really stood out for me were "Reconing Day", "Train Of Concequences", and "A Tout Le Monde".

I only really liked "Train Of Concequences" for some of the riffs.

I also noticed that people were going on about how good TSHF was when it came out. Now it seems like people are over the novelty of the idea of a new Megadeth album that sort of "returns to the old days".

ThrashHead 12-27-2004 12:44 AM

Family Tree, is probably my fav. track on Youthanasia, I don't know why, but I think that's one of the best tracks on there.

Which reminds me, I want me ****ing Countdown to Extinction cd back! I loaned it to a friend of mine to burn before break. And I'm missing it.

They are. Although Dave said that he might do some more touring in North America after the European, South American, and Japanese tours.

btoto 12-27-2004 06:12 PM

Ok, let's ask something everyone likes to answer:

What are the most headbangable 'deth songs???

1. The Mechanix
2. Rattlehead
4. Devils Island
5. Black Friday
6. Vortex
They are. Although Dave said that he might do some more touring in North America after the European, South American, and Japanese tours.
That would be sweet! :)
What are the most headbangable 'deth songs?
They're pretty much all headbangable up to Youthanasia and TSHF has a few too.

Mark. A 12-30-2004 02:54 AM

I am going to purchase Killing is my business re-issue soon, I have heard good things.

Facsimile 12-30-2004 04:09 AM

Yeah, the KIMB remaster is great.
*Highly recomends*
Oh, except that the bleeped version of These Boots. If you haven't heard the uncensored version make sure you download it.

Way ahead of you...Got that song today.

acefrehleyjendell 12-30-2004 05:06 AM

Does anyone know if the official site has been updated with OZ tour dates?
Because if they don't tour here, then Dave Mustaine is a liar. He said on national radio that he would come back down here, and if he doesn't, then i might have to start listening to metallica or something (statements made about metallica are absolutly false, i would never stop listening to megadeth)

Burdcheese 12-30-2004 05:35 AM

Only North America and Europe so far

acefrehleyjendell 12-30-2004 05:51 AM
Only North America and Europe so far
acefrehleyjendell 12-30-2004 07:29 AM

1.Last Rites/Loved to death (it says loved to Deth on some i've seen)
2. Killing is my business... and business is good
3. The skull beneath the skin
4. Rattlehead
5. Chosen Ones
6. Looking down the cross
7. Mechanix

Either go for Rust In Peace or Killing Is My Business. KIMB is a bit primitive, but VERY enjoyable. You're probably best getting Rust In Peace as it's widely acclaimed as their crowning moment.
