how do u uys consider a good guitarist?? gd timing?... gd rythm....tabbed songs by ear?? im currently taking lessons(im not dat gd) when i put metallica-sad but true(on a cd)...i'll try to play it on my guitar but i just cant keep up wif da song....and i just cant tab a song by ear!!! how ken i improve??

I wasn't saying that those other bands shouldn't be discussed in the Tool thread, I was just saying that Tool is not the same as A Perfect Circle; therefore, the APC thread wasn't "illegal." :cool:

Hey, don't know if anyones made this suggestion already, but as I'm lazy I'll suggest it myself. I'm getting bored of people asking the same old questions, so I say we have a Thread for FAQ about Metal & Rock. You know stuff like why Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica.

Just a suggestion.
