Which one? My favorite Sargatanas is the Mexican one. The Enlightenment is pretty good.

C.O.A. 07-01-2007 07:34 PM

my buddy's uncle apparently is good friends with a dude who was the guitar player for possessed back when they first started.

Get on AIM Mr. Dolan.

Or, check your email.

Poofy 666 07-01-2007 07:40 PM

Ah cool. Good band. What album do you have?

TojesDolan 07-01-2007 07:50 PM

1995 demo and I'm downloading The enlightenment.

Poofy 666 07-01-2007 08:25 PM

I've never heard their demo. is it any good?

I actually like Knights Of The Southern Cross a bit more than The Enlightenment, but I'm missing about half of the songs :(

I heard they were going to re-release it but that was a long time ago, and i haven't heard anything since :(

TojesDolan 07-01-2007 08:35 PM

I don't know, I listened a stream, I liked, but then rapidshare decided to act gay on me and I couldn't download the demo. :(

I can give you the link though

Poofy 666 07-01-2007 08:38 PM

Ah. It seems to be working fine for me. Thanks :)

Which one?

LegionsofMarduk 07-02-2007 08:58 AM

wow. MX is slow today. I'm at work and rapidshare is blocked (WTF?) so I'll download that Sargatanas demo when I get home tonight. I've heard that name tossed around a few times, but never really bothered to check anything out.
What the hell, you don't like Carnage?
when did I say that? That is certainly the opposite of the truth

AA-12 07-02-2007 01:34 PM

I just assumed that's what you meant, hah. They're great. Definitely in my top 5 or so DM bands.

Dargon II 07-02-2007 01:37 PM

rofl @ your last.fm for this week

AA-12 07-02-2007 01:39 PM

 Yeah I fiound that ironically funny too. You have me on a Warlust/CM kick now though, haha. I forgot how good they are.

Nostalgia 07-02-2007 02:42 PM

Josh, stop listening to Underoath. :-/

Totenkrieg 07-02-2007 03:13 PM

Yeah, Underoath is completely gay.
Which one?
I'm not sure, I'll tell him to ask his uncle what his name is.

ATM 07-02-2007 04:41 PM

Is anyone familiar with the Faceless? A co-workers band is opening for them and I don't really know anything about them.

Tyler 07-02-2007 04:43 PM

They're really decent for a new american death metal band.

ATM 07-02-2007 04:48 PM

Any suggestions for an album to check out?

Tyler 07-02-2007 04:52 PM

Akeldama is their only album I believe.

Poofy 666 07-02-2007 04:58 PM

The drummer from Vornagar played with them for a while I believe.

Its nothing amazing but I do like the song The Ghost of a Stranger.

Tyler 07-02-2007 05:02 PM

Yeah he's on a few songs, there's a few drummers on the album. I hate Tim Yeung, though.

I heard a The Faceless song once, it was breakdown infested metalcore ****, I don't know why they're being discussed in here.

A.K.A The current guitar player for Primus?

I agree though. They would be better if they dropped some of the breakdowns, but there are far worse bands coming out of the US right now than these guys.
A.K.A The current guitar player for Primus?
He played on Seven Churches, but not on their first demo. He didn't start with them until after the Death Metal demo was released. Weird to think the guy from Primus was in Possessed.

LifeInABox 07-02-2007 07:39 PM

It is quite wierd.

What should the next Decapitated album I get be?
