Who here likes Thursday? They are definately one of my favorite bands I love Geoff Rickly's voice and the way they write their lyrics just sends me into a state of deep thought and inspiration. I love how they stray away from the typical format of verse 1, chorus, bridge, verse 2, chorus. Their music is extraordinarily well written and the way they put it together just leaves me in awe. It just never gets old. Their talent just seems to me to be left unchecked.

[U]Looking Cool on Internet Forums 101: An Overview[/U]

[I]In this brief summary of the course I will include all the vital information you need to know about being in and remaining awesome on internet forums.[/I]

1. Take everything you read personally: If there is something in a thread that you can even remotely take offense to, make sure you explode on it’s creator with an unholy self-righteous fervor. Make sure you type in all capital letters if and when you respond, because that makes you seem angrier and almost as if you are “yelling”. Add random punctuation where-ever possible too, because it will make you seem all the more enraged. Creating multiple identities on the boards will ensure you to have plenty of people that agree with you if you are unable to find anyone else that may want to. Complain constantly in future replies to the thread creator’s predictable responses, and if at all possible, appear to be a martyr for underprivileged, accusing the thread starter of being a demonic Nazi baby eater. If you eventually feel like you cannot win the argument at hand, brush off all his well thought out points with a simple “Hahaha, I was just joking, LOLZ.” Not only does this make the person you were arguing with seem like an idiot, but at the same time you’ll appear to be a mellow, laid back person who doesn’t feel the need to get worked up over anything (even if you did start the argument).

2. tYPe LYk DIsz!!111: If you want to be cool, you have to fit in. Typing like you have an internet form of Turret’s Syndrome is the perfect way to look like a young hipster commonly called “kewl” on internet forums. Make fun of people with impeccable grammar, calling them nerds for spelling things correctly and forming coherent sentences. Anyone who capitalizes the first letter of a statement and ends it with a period is obviously a pale skinned weakling who lives in their mother’s basement. Don’t associate with that type of person, you don’t want them in your clique.

3. Spam constantly: Post threads with titles such as “Am I Cool?” and “Best Band”, because they are completely original and will make you popular with the in-crowd. Spam is your best friend and if someone argues that a thread you post is dumb, argue with them (Refer to point #1).

4. Have a badass name: You can’t be taken seriously unless your name reeks of attitude and virility. Make it something like Crusher666 or KewlerThanYou. Something that will make other forum goers feel inferior while still wishing to bow down to you in the process. Make fun of girly and stupid names any chance you get, because the people who use them are gay or liberal. Always refer back to your awesome name as something to be feared and respected. Make a few of them too (Refer back to point #1).

Using this abridged guide will get you started on your cool new e-rep (short for electronic-reputation) that you will earn as soon as you enter the wonderful world of internet forumdom.
