yeah, they could do with making a best of volume 2 with songs from the none-ozz years
Apparently they were going to make a box set of the post Ozzy albums, but I don't know if its going to happen or not.

My suggestion, ask for, The Original Black Sabbath: Symptom of the Universe 1970-1978. 2 disc set, all Ozzy era songs, a kick @$$ compilation.

sabbath saved me from gettin the **** beat out of me. I was at a concert and these guys decided to start somethin when i knocked into em and i dropped my walkmen. the dude who i bumped into(who was huge)was gettin real pissed and picked up and opened it. heaven and hell was in there. He said nice cd man and walked off.

shadow_stalker 11-26-2004 05:41 AM

Are you askin' 'bout Sabbath? If yes: Tony Iommi - guitars, Terry Butler - Bass, Bill Ward - drums, Ozzy - vocals. Thats for their first 8 albums... Want precise info then get to black-sabbath.com =>band personnel

Black-Sabbath.com is where most of my info comes from.

I spent ages reading the timeline page once, its really interesting.

shadow_stalker 11-26-2004 03:00 PM

i did that once, i didnt remember most of the stuff that i read

is that the official site, because if you go to www.blacksabbath.com it says official site coming soon, but joe siegler's site seems to have become official since people like bill ward have put stuff towards it

me needs a sabbath t-shirt :upset:

Brew 11-26-2004 03:06 PM

Joe Siegler = God.

tr00f.

I might be getting a Sabbath hoody after xmas :)

shadow_stalker 11-26-2004 03:14 PM

lucky bastard, joe siegle did a really good job with that site.

did you sign up for the email newsletter thing?

it has some good stuff in

Brew 11-26-2004 03:19 PM

Nah, I check the website once every few weeks though.

shadow_stalker 11-26-2004 03:24 PM

its pretty good, but their can be quite a few times when it is oure shite

have you seen the updated ozzy site, it has been completely re-done but last time i was on their was a thing set up so that you had to register and i think that only yanks can register on it

EDIT: just checked i think that they have taken that off

Brew 11-26-2004 03:26 PM

I haven't been on Ozzy's site for ages, last time I was there it was pretty crap.

shadow_stalker 11-26-2004 03:27 PM

everything has changed on it, i really hope they fired whoever made the old it was the wrost band/musiacins site ive ever seen

Brew 11-26-2004 03:32 PM

Cool, I might check it out later if I remember.

Did anyone read the interview with Iommi in the latest Total Guitar magazine? Its a pretty bog-standard interview but he says he considered becomming a bass player after chopping his fingers into little pieces.

shadow_stalker 11-26-2004 03:34 PM

im so glad that he didnt become a bass player, but i cant help wonder what it would have been like if he had

you need to register to get access to cartain parts of ozzy's site, also its been changed s that you dont have to be american to register (is it just paranoia that i dont want to give my phone number to the ozzy site?)

Brew 11-26-2004 03:49 PM

Meh.

I'm too lazy to register for things.

ToRidTheDisease 11-26-2004 03:55 PM
