i've been to jail twice. once for cursing out a cop and "careless driving" (different than reckless, not as severe) and the second time was for possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
my rap sheet is: disorderly conduct careless driving possession of marijuana (7g) resisting arrest |
i was arrested as a minor for burglary and arson but i got my record expunged when i turned 18
i've been chased by the cops a shit ton but i've always gotten away and the last time they stopped me for public intoxication i managed to bullshit my way through the field sobriety test and they let me go |
can't wait to hear it
ive been arrested
court in 11 days |
I worked from 6 AM until 5 PM today. I had to get up at fucking 5 AM this morning.
My uncle is the manager and my dad is the owner of the company. My uncle is such a lazy motherfucker and he screws over me and my driller, Rene almost every day. Jim, my uncle, gets paid 3x as much as we do and all he does is sit on his ass and watch youtube videos, drink and do cocaine. He's supposed to schedule all our jobs, talk to clients and do all the lab work. We have to go out every morning and drill holes in the hot sun and then we'll come back and he'll have done almost none of the lab work and Rene will have to do almost all of it. I will have to clean up the entire shop, which Jim could have been doing the entire time he was sitting around. And on top of that most of the time I'm cleaning up his fucking mess. He also will wait until we get back from the first few jobs of the day to call the clients he was supposed to call in the morning. Today we went and did that job at 6 AM and got back and were supposed to do another job but he hadn't called yet so we had to wait for him to call and the client to call back and ended up wasting 2 hours. In that time I had to clean up his fucking mess and clean the entire shop. We could have been done two hours earlier if he had done his fucking job and called ahead of time. He's supposed to drill sometimes and when he does he cheats on the holes so he can go back to the office and fuck off sooner. And on top of all this, he calls my dad and tells on me if I get into work 2 minutes late. He doesn't even say any thing to me, he just goes behind my back and calls my dad and tells him I was 2 minutes late and takes 15 minutes off my time. He also won't let me take lunch breaks most days even though we get 30 minutes taken out of our time for them. The worst part is if I try to talk to my dad about it he just doesn't want to hear any thing bad about Jim but will scream at me for any little thing I do wrong which he hears about every single one cause Jim tells on me. Last summer I got fed up with him telling on me and being an ass so I told my dad he was cheating on the holes he was drilling but my dad didn't punish him AT ALL even though he said he would immediately fire anyone that did it. Then Jim didn't schedule me for work for about 8 months out of spite and my dad is in such denial that jim is an asshole that he just assumed we weren't busy. |
I probably work harder at my job than anyone else here.
A normal job is two 25' holes. To do one hole, I have to take out 5 50lb augers, a bunch of push tubes, 5 5ft rods, a bunch of tools. We push samples from 0-2', 2-4', 4-5', 9-10, 14-15, 19-20 and 24-25. I have to put each sample in a bag and label the job number, boring number and depth and be extremely careful not to break the samples or we have to do it again. I also have to put all the augers together and pull them out in between each sample push. While we're augering down I have to shovel all the dirt. Then when we're finally done with the drilling and taking samples I have to put all the augers back on the truck, take all the rods apart and fill the hole back up with dirt. Then I back my driller up to the next hole. All the driller has to do is work the controls. This is for ONE hole. Like I said each job is usually two 25' holes and we normally do 3 jobs a day so I do this about 6 times every day. We also have to drive about an hour out to each job and have to clean up a bunch of bullshit when we get back to the office. We work at least 8 hours a day every day, today we worked 11. Last week one day I worked for 14 hours. I work pretty fucking hard for my money. And this is in Texas where it's usually 95-105 degrees in the summer and we don't get lunch breaks. |
sounds quite boring
ya hard work is good for you though |
Yeah it is. I've gotten really tan and have gotten in a lot better shape. My arms are starting to get pretty muscular from lifting augers and pipes, screwing them together, shoveling etc. I always get in really good shape over the summers.
I wouldn't really mind if Jim wasn't such a lazy prick and actually worked hard. Hell I wouldn't mind as much if he didn't report me for every little thing. To be honest, I don't really have much respect for how much "work" other people do at their jobs because a lot of jobs college kids have are basically just fucking off. |
thats what my job is

hsg youre a waiter or some shit you never talk about your life

sup yall

I will probably inherit the company when my dad retires and start doing what Jim does. But I will actually do all the lab work and keep the office clean and have the jobs ready in the morning. First I have to learn the rest of how to drill, log and the lab work though.
My dad owns another company that writes reports on all the soil we test about where to build on it, how safe it is, how the soil will expand etc in certain weather. We get the jobs, drill the holes and take samples, then take the samples and do tests in the lab then my dad writes a report about what we found out. |
haven't been to olive garden in years
breadsticks/10 |
Rene knows a coke dealer that he has been friends with since he was 8 so he gets a bunch of free coke. Sometimes he'll bring some to work and we'll do lines in the drill rig on the way back to the office. Occasionally he will get the two of us some tall boys to drink on the way back too.

sam, how long has your uncle been complete shit at the job?
I have to figure that your dad will realize at some point or another fuck yeah geotechnical engineering |
Well we used to have this guy Tommy doing what Jim does but Tommy quit and started his own drilling company. Jim used to be a driller like Rene and did a good job at that but he's a terrible manager. He's been the manager for about 4 years now.
My dad knows deep down that Jim is screwing him over because everyone that works there constantly complains about him. But my dad just likes to pretend Jim does more work than he does and never gets on him. I think it's cause Jim is his little brother and his been working for my dad and my grandpa before that (he owns another drilling company) for almost all his life. He knows that if he fires Jim that he probably won't get another job and will be screwed so he tolerates his laziness. What sucks is that Jim is holding the company back from making money by being so slow at his job. Also he has terrible social skills and never calls clients to ask for work. A lot of clients stop coming to us because he doesn't communicate with them until the last minute and isn't very personable. |
when push comes to shove something will be done I'm sure
only a matter of time until he really fucks something up from the sound of it |
I was trying to get him fired or at least demoted when I reported him for cheating. If it had been anyone else my dad would have warned them and if they did it again fired them on the spot. Jim got caught twice and just got a slap on the wrist.
The reason I told on Jim is because he always screws me over and tells on me. Also because he is screwing things up for all the other employees and my Dad. Rene and I cheat on holes a lot too but only when we know we'd just be wasting our time. What we do a lot of times is skip the T tests (it's this thing you do where you put a pointy cone at the end of the rods and hit it with a 600 lb automated hammer to see how strong the soil is.) We don't skip it every time like Jim does though, we do it when we have already taken a lot of tests and just want to get done faster. What do you do at your job jason? What kind of engineering is it? This is geotechnical stuff. |
sounds like symphonic linkin park

What do you do at your job jason? What kind of engineering is it? This is geotechnical stuff.
my job is really boring office stuff for an engineering department in a utilities company, but it pays really well taken a few geotech classes and generally found them pretty interesting, run most of the tests I imagine you run daily in my labs and so forth |
