^^why do you say that

I believe that it would be possible to overdose on pot. I just think you would have to smoke a LOAD of ganj to do it.

See, the way that it works, as I've come to understand is this:

-THC is measured in Fat cell concentration. When you smoke, the THC is stored in your fat cells.
-Fat cell concentration can only be raised 100% per "session"
-Fat cell concentration degrades at a rate of 10% per day.
-Fat cell concentration can be compounded.

So, in example:
Day 1: Smoke +100% = 100%
Day 2: No smoke -10% = 90%
Day 3: Smoke -9% +100% = 181%
Day 4: No smoke -18% = 163%

Get the picture? Supposedly, the maximum limit for fat cell concentration is 1000%, but I'd bet you could still get THC poisoning if it stayed at 1000% long enough.

Crapdragoon 09-20-2004 08:57 PM

wow.

FUNKNBASS 09-20-2004 08:57 PM

I think we've established that its three times your body wait, roughly.

THIS... IS....... SCIENCE!!!

Just had to throw that in.

Foxfire 09-20-2004 09:00 PM

Well, I went to my dad's chemistry class.

Now, the tests he used were multiple choice tests supplied to him by Houghton Mifflin. He received an answer key for grading by hand also a thing for the Scantron.

First problem: these sheets have TWO problems for certain numbers. I realize that's vague, so basically, it was like this on the sheet:
1.1
1.2
1.3
1.4
1.4
1.5
1.6
1.7
1.8
1.8
1.9.
1.10
1.11
1.12
1.12
1.13
1.14
1.15
1.14
1.15

Second: some of the answers in the answer key were incorrect.

Third: Some of the answers on the SCANTRON thing were incorrect! So if someone got something right, the answer key said it was one thing, and the scantron marked down a completely different answer in some cases.

Fourth: This was ALL supplied by Houghton Mifflin. Not cool.

My LA and Math books are both crappily written, yet Houghton Mifflin is a standard company that lots of schools use.

Oh well. My dad gets money from the publishers for corrections. It's just the principle of the thing, I guess.

Edit: To FUNKNBASS

What if you smoked on days 2, 4 .... etc?

Good night moon.
Good night room.
Good night, cow, jumpin', over the moon.

What the hell did I tell you about scooting away? Come back here NOW.

(cookie to whoever tells me what show that's from)

Saitoku 09-20-2004 09:08 PM
What if you smoked on days 2, 4 .... etc?
Day 1: +100% = 100%
Day 2: -10% + 100% = 190%
Day 3: -19% + 100% = 271%
Day 4: -27% + 100% = 344%

Actually, my math from before *fixes* is a little bunk since I forgot to mention that the fat cell concentration still decays by 10% each day even if you smoke that day. :smoke:

FUNKNBASS 09-20-2004 09:09 PM

FOX: I saw that in a book.

Foxfire 09-20-2004 09:10 PM
