When I meant before they were famous I meant before they were signed. I know there were pretty famous before then, especially with all the coverage they got, with the 'Pre-Kerrang!' magazine.

shadow_stalker 03-13-2005 10:04 AM

ah ok.

Also same question to AB/DC.

Stew_Blink 03-13-2005 10:04 AM

shadow_stalker 03-13-2005 10:22 AM

eah its very hard to make a list of just 10 songs.

vashts80 03-13-2005 10:24 AM

1) Blood Brothers (Rio)
2) Fear of the Dark (Rio)
3) Bring Your Daughter... (Donington)
4) Run to the Hills (Rio)
5) Brave New World (Rio)
6) The Trooper (Live)
7) Dance of Death (Stage theatrics are awesome live)

vashts80 03-13-2005 11:46 AM

I need a complete bass tab for Blood on the World's Hands. :(

The only one I've been able to find is the same with, with the first minute or so (it goes up until the rest of the band breaks in)

It's annoying me.

ANYWAYS...Blood on the World's Hands Live (Eddie's Archives) > BotWH Studio

Aye 'tis. Try this for the bass tabs; Get the Guitar tab for it (if it exists) and use the Root notes of the chords. :thumb:

Top 10 maiden - way too hard to chose. currently:
1. Rime of the ancient mariner
2. Dance of death
3. the Clansman (RiR version)
4. the trooper
5. Moonchild
6. Powerslave
7. Journeyman
8. Caught somewhere in time
9. Fear of the dark (RiR version)
10. Hallowed be thy name (RiR version)

i havent been listening to maiden so much lately though, been listening to the dream theater and megadeth albums i got

ashman 03-13-2005 01:32 PM

3. Hallowed be thy name
4. deja vu
5. caught somewhere in time

ashman 03-13-2005 01:45 PM
dude, that seriously is the funnest song to play on guitar
Yeah it is, I can never get the solos though...Stupid Dave with his great skills

coolidgeALL 03-13-2005 01:48 PM

I can play everything I got off of Mx tabs, but I dunno. Is that more of a riff with all those full bends and stuff?

ashman 03-13-2005 01:51 PM
I can play everything I got off of Mx tabs, but I dunno. Is that more of a riff with all those full bends and stuff?
The bendy riff between solos? That's probably the easiest bit in the song, I just have a lot of trouble with Daves solo. I don't learn Janick solos, theyre too sloppy for me.

coolidgeALL 03-13-2005 01:57 PM

Yea I think thats what I meant, its like 8-10b12r10-8 or something like that, they do it 4 times total, twice on the b string, then the high e string, than again on the b string. Thats probably my favorite part of the song, tho not extremely hard. Did that even make since at all?

ashman 03-13-2005 01:59 PM

Yeah it made sense. I love the way that Janick Harmonises as well, it makes me want to search out another heavily influenced Maiden Guitarist to Jam with...

coolidgeALL 03-13-2005 02:02 PM

Yea, I really like the harnonising in alot of there songs. I've only been listening to maiden for about a year, and I like judas priest and early metallica stuff, just to name a couple bands. what else should I check out?
