Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's gone.

I am addicted to Minus the Bear.

You deserve it for not liking Circa Survive.

hey guys.
Yea, but it can cost around £5k just to get a basic license. Im sure I could pay it back though :)

EasyJet Pilots/First Officers earn up to £66k a year, plus extra bonuses (sp?). And thats to say that EasyJet are only a relatively small commerical company.

My dream job would be flying for Virgin Atlantic, or flying the WWE business jet.
lol it just so happens that i want to become a pilot when I'm older too. Millitary planes at first then when I'm decomissioned I'll hook up with the commercial planes. Boo yah!:thumb:
i wanna fly the planes that take people up for skydiving and i want to be a skydiving photographer
The only thing better than flying a plane is jumping out of them.

(of course if there is no flaming debris flying at you at the same time)

I love them...I like their older stuff a bit more than the stuff off Menos El Oso, but it's still really good. :D

You don't like Co&Ca or TAI..., so leave me alone.

I got a few albums off you last night.

Oh, and I need the codec to Supesize Me.

Yeah, I saw. Get VLC Media Player for movies. So much better than WMP, and you don't have to download any codecs or anything.

I dunno, ask Gav. :D

Oh no, I have all full-length releases by both bands on actual CD. But I could see why people wouldn't like them. :)

P.S. Everyone give me your slsk names again 'cept Brian.

bottlerocket 01-16-2006 08:16 PM

I find Co&Ca to be a wannabe Rush. Everyone says they're breaking new ground; Rush did the same thing 20-30 years ago.

TAI is just generic pop-punk. I grew up on NFG and recently got into Spitalfield because it's a bit more pop-emo than pop-punk, but TAI offers no new insight in the genre, are boring, and I find their songwriting techniques to be uninspired.

Overall, I find both bands to be boring, bland, and offer nothing new, but a bunch of other people like them. Apparently I'm the weirdo.

Yeah, I hear they're boring live. Then again, they're the band you just put on to chill out to, in my opinion. If you want to go to a show and mosh, go see Killing the Dream or something. :thumb:

I know what you mean, though, and I agree.

Gnarmageddon 01-16-2006 08:17 PM

You like Pig D, so I'll let it slide.

Justin: Added a link if you didn't notice. When you install it, just find the file, right click, open with, VLC media player.

Vince: allofmeoliveme

Man, I'm slow tonight.

bottlerocket 01-16-2006 08:18 PM

I don't have slsk...once I go to college and get my laptop I will. This computer's a POS. Put it this way: I'm still running Windows 98.

I have no P2P programs on my computer because it would rape my system's resources.

While I love Rush, it's unfair to discredit Co&Ca as a ripoff Rush, there are many pointed differences in the music, though the influence is obvious.

Ah, well they do incorporate the Indie sound into their music, so I can't say I see a real comparison to bands like NFG, but the Indie sound is very trendy and pervasive nowadays so it is pretty generic anyways.

Wow, and I thought it was bad when I was running on ME.

I run soulseek and my resources are pretty much used up.

My parents' computer uses ME still. Soooo much current software is incompatible, it's lame. Just upgrade to XP kids!

I listened to one of their songs for forced listening a few weeks ago. It was really boring, and didn't appeal to me at all.

I'm off guys. Later.

Yeh...I could definitely understand that. Basically, you have to be in the right mood to be able to listen to it, much less appreciate it. For that reason it rarely gets a listen. But when it does I know I'll enjoy it.

Later Spencypoo.

Yeah, I had to upgrading before getting my iPod just to run iTunes. And to install my 200 GB HD becuase ME won't support NTFS.

Is there any way to adjust brightnees on VLC? My monitor has gone dark, so when I view movies I have to up the brightness. I can't seem to find the adjustor on VLC though.

Night Spence.

It looked kind of pointless to me. "Hey look, if you eat one thing for thirty days you're unhealthy."
