because the instrument forums are useless and contain all the morons who recieve their musical education there
Okay, have one of your pit **** buddies come on here and show us that kickass audio that you claim they have.

And btw, I learned most of my stuff from private lessons and school, so you can kiss my *** and then give me a rimjob.

Undisco Kidd 01-14-2007 08:37 PM

So, guys, you know whats awesome? Internet-terrorising a drum-related social thread.

That is basically one of the coolest things possible.

Electronic Wolf 01-14-2007 08:38 PM

It doesn't matter where you were educated because you're all going to end up working at Wal-Mart for the rest of your lives.

Little Android Man 01-14-2007 08:39 PM

that makes Alf Fonzie.

moogoogaipan 01-14-2007 08:39 PM

Man, this is really hilarious to watch.
You guys get a kick out of having some power in the internet realm cause you have none in your real life.

Cameron, going to Berklee doesn't mean ****. It can be a good school, but going there doesn't make you a better musicians.

Secondly, none of the audio you've ever posted has been extremely impressive on any of the instruments. Your drumset skills are way worse than your percussive skills, which are decent at best,... nothing of the boasting skills you were talking about.
actually,... you suck.

So, make sure you make a response to this that is mean and hateful and full of your rage, because I'm going to bed right now and I'm never going to read your response to this because this is the internet.

Everyone else: I'll be back later.

Alf™ 01-14-2007 08:40 PM

what

Seafroggys 01-14-2007 08:42 PM
see seafroggy

youre basing that opinion on facts that you lack

you dont go to the pit so you dont know people like aria for instance
who acts like a retard but is really good at guitar

i have posted quite a bit of my audio/video here
it would be easy to find but if you really think listening to me play music will make you feel less like a tool i can dig it up
i'm talking about others, not you. Since you say everybody in the Pit is the best, proove it. Cause obviously all your opinions are based on facts.

Little Android Man 01-14-2007 08:43 PM
what
how slow pit goers are.
sigh*

Electronic Wolf 01-14-2007 08:48 PM

Wasn't moog crying about us earlier, and now he's like "Oh LOL, this is so hilarious! The internet doesn't bother me!"?

Clearly it does.

Undisco Kidd 01-14-2007 08:48 PM

[QUOTE=Super Cameron;14021512
im going to the berklee college of music and youre in butt**** tennessee

good luck with that man
I don't think he can help where he was born.

Also, Berklee is just kind of living off of its name. It isn't the school it used to be.

Seafroggys 01-14-2007 08:52 PM
ok ill have to track people down from the pit and see if they are on and can be bothered to entertain you

can you wait a minute
bothered to entertain me?

Don't you wanna proove your ****ing point?

You seem so hesistant to proove that you are right. Don't have the balls?

Josiah 01-14-2007 08:53 PM

I think that's what he's talking about.. (in reference to alumni of berklee)

Have to agree there. Deffinetly not what it was. Not to say, it's still not a great music school.

I would have choosen to go there if they had drum instructors still there from back in the day.

Undisco Kidd 01-14-2007 09:05 PM
oh i see coming from a music authority such as yourself i will reconsider where i attend college

oh by the way i was born in michigan... not exactly boston is it

moogoo seems pretty into jazz maybe he can tell you who some of these people are

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Berklee_College_of_Music_alumni
ALUMNI.

As in, FROM BACK IN THE DAY.

Not today.

As in, berklee isn't WHAT IT USED TO BE.

DURRRRRRRRRRRR.

Quinto 01-14-2007 10:23 PM

well since its living off its rep it doesnt really matter if its not as good as it used to be if people still think its amazing, youll still get hired or w/e, idk why you would go to college for percussion though.

theres a keeley hazzel nudy tape, woot

Sunshine 01-14-2007 10:34 PM

Ohhh, excitement in the D&P.

So I just saw Night at the Museum...again.

drummerdave 01-14-2007 10:42 PM

Electric Requiem 01-14-2007 10:50 PM

Ive got my English 30 final tomorrow, wish me luck.

Sunshine 01-14-2007 10:53 PM

It has it's moments.

But going with the very right people makes everything awesome.
sure it would be cool if i could go there and study with alan dawson or gary chaffee... but alan is dead... now you have heavyweights like ralph peterson and terri lyne carrington teaching there... gary retired... but you have guys like dave dicenso and mike mangini teaching there
Exactly, and while the current teachers there are good. I wouldn't compare them with their predisesors.

And it was those predisesors who turned out basically the some of the biggest drumming names of the world, wich in turn gave Berklee a great name and reputation. Even though many of those who did, didn't actually graduate.

Plus Berklee has received some bad rap, there's a few sources, but one distinct one I can recall is Abe Laborial Jr's cover ModernDrummer interview. He had some rather not so nice things to say about the school, who was a graduate.

Electronic Wolf 01-14-2007 11:44 PM

You should learn how to spell predecessor.

CasB 01-15-2007 01:11 AM
