I tatoos on my arms, my mum seems to think that i won't get a job if i do :rolleyes

billiejoe84 01-16-2006 04:31 PM

Well, I guess that depends on where the tats are, and what job you want.

Untitled 01-16-2006 04:35 PM

Well atm, i wanna job in a supermarket or something, where i seriously doubt they'll matter. Then im gonna be a designer....

And the tats will be small and pretty.

My mom says the same because I want to do sleeves. But it may be true for engineering. So I might stick to a shoulder/back design instead.

Eh, I'd love to do that too...but I'd rather not sacrifice employability for it.

Actually, a lot of yours will be looks based becuse you have to sell yourself as well as your products.

What is it?

ChodaBoy 01-16-2006 05:16 PM

Permanent Solution 01-16-2006 05:18 PM

Yea, but it can cost around £5k just to get a basic license. Im sure I could pay it back though :)

EasyJet Pilots/First Officers earn up to £66k a year, plus extra bonuses (sp?). And thats to say that EasyJet are only a relatively small commerical company.

My dream job would be flying for Virgin Atlantic, or flying the WWE business jet.

Sooner you learn to fly, the sooner we can have a race.

Yeah...well...any good job puts you into debt at first unless you're brilliant <_<

But that seems about right, maybe a little low. Pilots in the states are in six figures easily.

PDWAB 01-16-2006 05:31 PM

Can't you get your pilot's license at 14?

ChodaBoy 01-16-2006 05:33 PM
Can't you get your pilot's license at 14?
Nay. You can begin training for it, but you cant legally take your test without being 16 (in the UK). I doubt it would be lower than that age anywhere in the world though.

CommieCanada 01-16-2006 06:13 PM

Ouch Spence.

This thread has been pretty dead the last couple of hours or so.

Oh, did Jeremy get rid of rep now? I noticed the boxes are gone now.
