hahahaha check this out guys. I just had a convo with a guy that lives close to me and plays drums. I went up his house one day and played his kit a while back and it was a peace pink sparkle one with k and a custom cymbals but thats not the point. I found this hilarious!

Me:to broaden your horizons and learn new styles instead of just sticking to one?

Friend:but a true drummer plays from there heart, i play funk

Friend: jazz latin, metal, rock whatever i like playing

Me:but how can you advance on those style's of playing without some expert guidnece

Me:You have stick control and a practice pad and a metranome?

Friend:how the **** do you think they learnt? practice pad yeah

Friend: nope, i have a near perfect counter in my head. i studied music at school and learnt all the timings without one

Freind: no, people who play to metranomes are pathetic and dont truely understand their instrument
