4 weeks?!

Ours was 2.

*shakes fist at the ungratefull college studant*

Pazz 01-15-2006 02:38 PM

I have two weeks of school and then we get exam break.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-15-2006 02:40 PM

I'm in a pretty small town, it was 15,000 people i think, or that could be way wrong.
I can walk into it within 10 mins and it had most shops i would need.

If i want to go to a bigger town with all shops i can go to Grimsby which is about 20 mins drive (also Englands biggest **** hoel)

Argh, i hate washing up, your fingers are like prunes after.

Have a good time back at home Vince ?

Actually it was closer to 5 I do believe O:-)

Matt: Late exams.

Dan: Yes, yes I certainly did. And yourself?

Angry Balled Fists! 01-15-2006 02:45 PM

Humm, it was ok, i got a few decent things, but atm i'm got a scratch card gambling problem :(

5 month semesters suck. I only have 2 exams, but lots of final projects. I'm done one, one will be done tomorrow, and the other 2 I have like 2 weeks.

Permanent Solution 01-15-2006 02:48 PM

Dan: That's no good. I'm poor to the point of being in debt...so good thing I'm not a gambler.

I like exams over projects myself. I don't study so the prep time for those is non-existent. Exam time is almost a break in itself.

Yeah, i know iwasted like £20 pounds last week on it :(

And i've basically been sacked from my job so i need to get a new one.

Ace 01-15-2006 02:49 PM

I got 4 final projects and 4 exams this semester.

And it doesn't help that 2 of the projects and exams are entirely in french.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-15-2006 02:50 PM

Bleh what's all this semester talk ?

That's so much money...jebus.

I don't have a job during school, hurrah. Well...actually...I might, I have to see if I got the radio position I applied for, but I don't think it's paid either way.

Semester = Term.

I think.

I dunno.

I perfer exams too. The science project I have to do is a SOB because I have to summarize 53 sections. But, its good studying for the exam which can bring my mark up from a 76% to my 80% that I want. My other exam is math, and there's no worries there.

Ace 01-15-2006 02:54 PM

I hate final projects with a passion. I'm suposed to be doing one right now.

Permanent Solution 01-15-2006 02:55 PM

Semesters are terms yes. As long as there are 2 terms in one school year.

Pazz 01-15-2006 02:56 PM

I was doing my Science one in the computer room listening to Waking Ashland, and my mom decided to come on the computer and it was really irritating, so I got off and tried to do my Math project. I'm not doing that either because I need my old tests.

Is that sarcasm ?

Because if it is, for a 16 year old with next to no money it is a lot.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-15-2006 02:57 PM
Semesters are terms yes. As long as there are 2 terms in one school year.
Nah, we have 4 or 3 or something terms.

We have half term breaks too, which are one week breaks and end of term breaks which are for 2 weeks.

Well...yes and no. I didn't mean it to be, but it could be hehe. It's a bit over half a day of work though.

However, my textbooks this sem are gonna be ~$500

We have 3.

September - December (1term)- 2 week -break December - Easter (2term)- 2 week break- Easter - Summer. Finish

Each term we have a 1 week break in the middle too. Usualy each half term is 6 weeks. Depends what month easter falls in.

Pazz 01-15-2006 03:00 PM

We have 4 terms, 2 semesters.

The terms really mean nothing to us. At midterm we get a report card to say how we are doing, that's about all.

Ace 01-15-2006 03:00 PM

We have 2 semesters

september - febuary (4 subjects)
febuary - june (4 subjects)

dammit matt you beat me to it

like different subjects a different day of the week?

ChodaBoy 01-15-2006 03:03 PM

How the hell have the Steelers let it come so close!

Pazz 01-15-2006 03:05 PM
like different subjects a different day of the week?
They would have 4 classes one day, 4 the next and then alternate every Friday. There's a couple schools around here that are like that.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-15-2006 03:09 PM

Holy ****, my mums such a bitch.

She just put a time limit back on, which means on Wednesdays i can't go on at all, what's the deal ??

Oh well, i guess it doesn't matter as i'm hopefuly gonna stop posting soon.

I've got to go now, night all.
like different subjects a different day of the week?
No.

At the minute, my day is split into 3 sections, theres 1st lesson, 2nd, and 3rd. And the lessons are put in random slots. My lessons are 1 hour 40 (im in college, not the same as your college)

Its more for highschool, they have about 6 periods. these are usualy 50 minutes, 1 hour.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-15-2006 03:12 PM

Here, we have 5, 1 hour lessons a day.

And we have a two week timetable too, so every other week we have the same lessons.
