2muchket! 01-04-2011 12:33 PM

Getting my nouns and verbs mixed up, what am I like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I tell ya.

Squirrel 01-04-2011 12:50 PM

Actually no, practise is what a band does, as in rehearsing.

nght5tlkr 01-04-2011 01:08 PM

I thought we all knew Asians are just robots and/or lack emoshunz :smash:

Mostly because I don't what to do otherwise as I'm not a performer. Stare at the camera? Make funny faces? It's also why most (Asian) players cover their faces for their videos, but will reveal their faces later as time goes on.

Yes, and he was at practice. Where he was practising.

Unless you're going to skew it so that "at practise" is a colloquial version of 'practising' like Girls@Play or some such.

2muchket! 01-04-2011 01:31 PM

Back to uni on monday, no doubt newcastle will be even colder than it was before christmas, joy of joys.

steps to being an super badass while playing guitar:
- stand up
- get pumped
- move

it's that simple

edit: step 2 is where most people fail

2muchket! 01-04-2011 01:35 PM

Watch dillinger escape plan and the chariot live vids.

This is how you perform even in ur bedroom, got that kaito.

Bruce E Kinesis 01-04-2011 01:40 PM

Forced stage presence is a thousand times worse than shoegazing

nght5tlkr 01-04-2011 01:42 PM

I'll see if I can backflip in place while playing guitar to provide a more visually stimulating performance :thumb:

2muchket! 01-04-2011 02:03 PM

Well being asian is far worse for your stage performance, but you don't see me stating such obtuse things (until now) do you.

The Transporter 01-04-2011 02:59 PM

master the power stance bro. i usaully only powered up to about 50%, but hwen I was really into it, I'd go to like75% power stance mode.

if i went to 100% people would start rioting, so I usuallky held back a little.

2muchket! 01-04-2011 03:02 PM

Running on the spot and xCROWDxPUNCHINGx people works for me idk.

The Transporter 01-04-2011 03:29 PM

Bruce E Kinesis 01-04-2011 05:52 PM

Sad But True 01-04-2011 06:13 PM

I usually don't remember my gigs, but I'm told I go a bit mental on stage.

I want this in my life.

Sad But True 01-04-2011 06:36 PM

How original.

But seriously, silverburst has me spooging at the drop of a hat anyway, making it 7 string is awesome, and the tele shape just keeps it that little bit kinky.

The Transporter 01-04-2011 07:51 PM

telecasters are the uugliest thing on the planet

Kuffuffled 01-04-2011 08:26 PM

and then?

fingers mccoy 01-04-2011 08:30 PM

all electric guitars look a bit like shit dudes

all guitars look a bit shit

it's a guitarist's job to make up for the guitar

2muchket! 01-04-2011 08:49 PM

Which is why I look excellent playing.

Look even better when I'm just doing vox, cos I'm all like chyeah and jumping into the crowd and shit.

Giga 01-04-2011 09:08 PM

Sad But True 01-04-2011 09:47 PM

No thanks, I've had my fill of flimsy claims today.

AG 01-05-2011 02:15 PM

What would you prefer, if you had to choose.

Your arms being long like cooked spaghetti, all wobbly and such, or sweating ragu sauce instead of sweat?

nght5tlkr 01-05-2011 02:57 PM

The latter, as you can at least make money from it.

Sad But True 01-05-2011 05:09 PM

Sup Lod? We all well? Excellent.

I want a new book to immerse myself in. I've systematically demolished the list I had. Thinking something future-ish perhaps, lots of detail, etc.

MAKE WITH THE SUGGESTING

Blue_Moon 01-05-2011 05:51 PM

Metaljonus 01-05-2011 07:52 PM

purple_hazer 01-05-2011 11:36 PM

i cant rightfully make the suggestion having never read it but ive always been curious about orson scott card stuff. ender's game and what not. always seemed like a classic ya know?

Giga 01-05-2011 11:47 PM

anything outside of ender's game and MAYBE some of the others in the ender series (ref; bean books) is something to stay away from
stay far away
