Mabey he's loaded who knows

Nice pickups rockin'!
he must be! just casually pic up new set of heads and a k splash like..meh..

:(

rockindrummer 10-01-2005 10:45 AM

For everyones info I am not loaded. Just an average 14 year old. I had been planing to go down there from the beggining of this week to pick a splash and heads. I had just gotten paid for doing a bunch of work up at my friends cabin, so what else to spend it on, but drums. I guess it does sound a bit casual after rereading it.

Thanks Jim. I havn't gotten a chance to put the new heads on yet but the splash sounds awsome, and i'm sure the new combo will too.

PowerStamp 10-01-2005 12:07 PM

whoo

So I just got my band on the bill to play with Embrace Today at El Torreon on December 3rd, and we're playing with Across Five Aprils on thursday.

Tonight I was scheduled to work 4-11pm, and I was telling somebody else that last night and they checked and the manager that closes tonight had switched me to 6-2(pm to am)! Without asking me or even telling me!
All just to benefit herself with another closer.

WTF?!

I'm considering screwing her over and going in at 4 anyways, or going in at 6 and complaining a lot.

Win A Rabbit 10-01-2005 12:56 PM

well it turns out that my dad didn't forget to take me into work with him today, he just decided that i didn't put enough effort in to re-state that we had arranged that i was working this weekend. i told him "i'll work on the 1st and 2nd" but i guess i have to re-tell him every day to make that valid. and to put icing on the cake, he's home for a max. of 15 minutes before he goes to bed, and i'm usually out or unaware that he's even home.

f'uck it, i'm done completely at the golf course. i thought maybe i'd be nice and help him out for a weekend or two, since i'm quitting there anyways, but whatever. if he's gonna act like that, then f'uck him.

/rant.

tomorrow i think i'm going shopping with my lady friends, as usual on a sunday  and i think i'll give them a call right away, since i told them i was probably working, so they won't be calling me any time soon.

poppinfresh 10-01-2005 12:59 PM

oh i was supposed to go shoe shopping today. Then i realized that i didnt have any money.

Jezen 10-01-2005 01:02 PM

I just found out that my uncle who died when I was 8 was gay.
Eep.

Jezen 10-01-2005 03:52 PM

Do you perhaps think that his death somehow supernaturally triggered off your lesbianism?

styler 10-01-2005 03:57 PM

bb, you should seriously stop buyin all this extra stuff, get new heads first lol

Janeway 10-01-2005 04:04 PM
Do you perhaps think that his death somehow supernaturally triggered off your lesbianism?
Nah.
I blame that on frequent exposure to the Spice Girls and Hippies during vital stages of my development.

Plan B. 10-01-2005 04:12 PM

Ok so I think Wart Blaster has finally hardened to the point of playing at nearly full boar.

I just played for about 15 minutes, pretty hard, and she's feeling alright. Now it's time to built back my hands (oddly, my feet were amazing today).

Jezen 10-01-2005 04:13 PM

I'm getting new heads soon. The ones I will change out first are my snare batter, aux snare batter and reso, and then my tom resos.

Tim 10-01-2005 04:49 PM

finally got my stick control in the mail today. woot.

The Fiction We Live 10-01-2005 05:05 PM

I hate that book... to practice from it is like forcing down cough med when I was younger.

Double Bass Jim 10-01-2005 05:07 PM

Yummy is the only understated word I can think of Jim.

spike9908 10-01-2005 05:11 PM

The same day I'm going to get my broken nose set... boy is that gonna hurt.

spike9908 10-01-2005 05:20 PM

oh, i thought you said like thursday, but whatever. nice ride by the way.

Double Bass Jim 10-01-2005 05:24 PM

Thanks man

The Fiction We Live 10-01-2005 05:27 PM

Good luck Jim, I wish I had that kind of confidence... all the players I've seen at my "local" (30 mins away) GC are not very nice people, to get the point across without stars.

Double Bass Jim 10-01-2005 05:37 PM

Yea thats lame man.

rockindrummer 10-01-2005 06:52 PM

Awsome playing jim, really good to listen too.
