Thank you for posting it in here even thouhg your not supposed to but it beats making a thread about it (I don't know maybe you can't make threads but whatever) well I would google it if you know what the song title is and genre. The thread title kinda lies, this if for requests for mods to do thing and such, we also report problems in this thread, about illegal threads, or bad users.

Welcome to MX.

Stoic 10-25-2005 10:10 AM

If you dont have an mp3 you could post a detailed description in the music request thread or if you do have a sample you could ask the people in the community thread whether they're willing to help you and send it to them.
Welcome to MX.
A ten-month-late welcome? Man, this place used to be really friendly back in the day.

Nostalgia 10-25-2005 10:13 AM

I was reading in the site forum (for my first time...ever) and I noticed that their have been many thread spawning, name/profile changing links in the pit, I know this isn't the pit but, how dangerous is it to click links now? becuase I don't want to get banned over something I didn't mean to do.

EDIT: Sorry Jom, I didn't notice...

Jom 10-25-2005 10:16 AM

Here's a general rule of thumb, also known as common sense:

1) If you don't recognize the link, DON'T CLICK IT.
2) If the user providing the link is a quote-unquote "bad user," DON'T CLICK IT.
3) Spawn links are unprejudicial in their location; that is, they can be found anywhere.

Hopefully with the upgrade, these links can be checked out first, but there are many users who know their ways around vBulletin to cause some damage.

Hell, here's a suggestion: don't click anything.

Nostalgia 10-25-2005 10:20 AM

Yea I haven't clicked a link in a while...I don't like really going in the pit any more that place is a warzone now. I'm not to familair but is this "plexiglass" guy doing any thing to cause damage? I know he was a supermod earlier.

Jom 10-25-2005 10:42 AM

Wait, wait... The Pit... a warzone?!

How can The Pit be a warzone now that everybody is getting supered instantly and checking it out?

///

I'm going to reiterate that you don't click on unfamiliar links. I'm not going to completely recap plexiglass' history again. If someone else wants to, fine, but everytime he resurfaces people have a tendency to ask what happened, and it gets annoying to have to explain it time and time again.

In a purposefully vague nutshell: he was a supermod, was tinkering around, got reported for his experimenting/tinkering, was demodded for it, he tried to prove his innocence and explained what he was doing, no one cared to listen, and now he creates havoc every so often.

And that is my purposefully vague nutshell.

Nostalgia 10-25-2005 10:50 AM

I shouldn't said "warzone" but I never used to go in the pit really and it just kinda bugs me because it's just full of spam and meaningless threads...Yea maybe sometimes some of them are funny but you can't really make a serious thread that doesn't have to do with polatics without gettin flamed.
No.
There are a load of good threads - or threads that have the potential to be good, but the amount of retards that view the Pit make it almost impossible for good threads to get going.

I half and half agree with you.
Haha, yea I like the pit it's not bad but they just get a huge infulx of idiot threads, and if your new and you make like a stupid thread, people get flamed to death. Yea there are some great threads but IMO their are some users who just...annoy me.

I have a question for you riva, how did you get most of your rep points? was it becuase of MNM? or was it your posting habbit, I have done my poetry speaks series 6 times and haven't been repped yet, oh and it doesn't bother me at ALL but I'm just wondering, as I keep working on the series will I eventually get rep?

Thanks.

I just repped you. Sorry, didn't realise you hadn't been repped.

Most of my reps came from reporting problems, or my FAs. And sometimes for a particularly good MNM.

Nostalgia 10-26-2005 01:16 AM

Thank you very much man, are you still going to do monday night mayhem any more? since you became a mod.

Riva 10-26-2005 01:21 AM

Oh I will. Just some stuff to sort out first.
