Minutemen - 3 Way Tie for last
You can hear the transformation from their early work to what would become fIREHOSE. I honestly think that D. Boon would've gone the direction that fIREHOSE did with Ed Crawford. |

1 Morrissey 118
2 Elvis Presley 47 3 John Lennon 42 4 Elliott Smith 36 5 Sufjan Stevens 34 6 John Coltrane 31 7 Billy Bragg 27 8 Jimmy Eat World 22 9 Death Cab for Cutie 21 10 The Decemberists 17 I was trying to listen to all of my Morrissey albums in one go and I didn't get very far. I'm surprised I only listened to 17 Decemberists tracks, I thought I was drowning myself in them for a while there. Then again I pretty much evenly split everything between CD player and computer. |
Big Black - Atomizer

I'm suddenly much more angry after listening to this. |
Sleater-Kinney doesn't have a bassist because all the good chick bass players are in other bands with guys already.

My university course has opened me up to a lot of great, great stuff. Gyorgi Ligeti, in particular, is starting to really challenge Penderecki (who we're also studying, incidentally) as my favourite composer.
My other music teacher wore a Shpongle hoodie today, too. How ownage is that? |
