Terrorizer are very cool. Am I mistaken, or did Pete Sandoval play all those drum beats with only one foot?
It depends whether you're talking about "World Downfall"? If yes, then no. If you follow. Sandoval only started playing double kick when he joined Morbid Angel. World downfall was recorded later.

The demos, rehearsals etc were all single bass.

i actually have no idea. although i want to say yes, since pete had never used two bass drums before morbid angel.

EDIT: refer to jondur's post :)

pate 09-19-2007 07:57 AM

Trey has some amusing stories about finding Pete passed out in sweat from practicing double kicks.

Then awake shouting 'Time to get back to work!'.
Martyr owns your bowels
No.

i am the robots 09-19-2007 12:17 PM

Job For A Cowboy > Martyr :o

SuperID 09-19-2007 12:20 PM

Martyr > 99.9% of the bands talked about here.

Deth 09-19-2007 12:22 PM

If that's true, it doesn't bode well for me liking Martyr.

EDIT: To Mappy

i am the robots 09-19-2007 12:27 PM

Exactly. Job For A Cowboy is possibly the best band ever.

Even though I really like them, I can't say that with a straight face.

SuperID 09-19-2007 12:27 PM

Then again I might not be talking about the same Martyr as you.

i am the robots 09-19-2007 12:29 PM

We are talking the same Martyr, the one that sucks and goes weedly wee.

SuperID 09-19-2007 12:31 PM
We are talking the same Martyr, the one that sucks and goes weedly wee.
Hmm. It appears so. But hey metal sucks anyway so how could it matter.

VomitStainedCretin 09-19-2007 12:32 PM

What little I've heard of Martyr impressed me. On the subject of Canadian metal, Augury's Skyless is a phenomenal track.

SuperID 09-19-2007 12:34 PM

Martyr is quite impressive, but also could be quite funny and gratuitous to some.

masterchaos 09-19-2007 12:34 PM

I listened to Martyr the other day and its anything but crap. The song Havoc and Reverie somethin didnt do much for me, but their Nameless Faceless.. song was pretty sick. The riffage in that song alone is better than most Job For a Cowboy.

Also, I didnt know JFAC had a women drummer...pretty hot watchin a girl drum like that

SuperID 09-19-2007 12:43 PM

Well Martyr has 2 very elite progressive death metal albums, which surpass almost any other deathmetal band around today. These are Hopeless Hopes and Warpzone. Their new one is crap from what I've heard.

pate 09-19-2007 01:03 PM

MArtyr is ****ing gay.

Gah you're lucky. Stupid Canadian bands that don't come to the US.

pate 09-19-2007 02:56 PM

Augury owns.

Stormrider 09-19-2007 03:04 PM

Yeah, Concealed is really good. It will be an awsome show.

Deth 09-19-2007 03:12 PM

Augury need a new album, like, now.

pate 09-19-2007 03:15 PM

Stormrider 09-19-2007 03:18 PM
Asmegin.
