The album by Jesu
|
Ugh, the Chariot's first album is painful to listen to with all the freaking guitar feedback.
|
But it was cool when they were finishing whatever song it was and the band members started disassembling the drummers kit and he continued the beat on whatever he had left until it was his bass and snare left.
WOW DUDE THAT'S LIKE, UNCHAINED EMOTION Oh cool, I found a Norma Jean song I didn't even know about before, Shaunluu... it's seriously well above any other song the band has ever written... I just wish it was Josh on vocals.... he sucks live, but he's still better than Cory. :/ |
would Undertow be considered metalcore
the intro to Taken is amazing
nah, just 90's hardcore. Good band though. |

Norma Jean > The Chariot but overall, they are really both very mediocre. np: Kiss It Goodbye - Ammunition |

Yeah I like that song as well. I heard it on the Masters Of Horror soundtrack and then on the rerelease of "O'God...". Also I enjoy The Chariot when I wanna hear some sloppy noisy stuff. I guess that comes from growing up on Nirvana. I enjoy Norma Jean as well from time to time. I like Josh a lot but Cory is more versatile, not that he is versatile, but he is more versatile. |

Speech Impediment is the best song on Thrill Seeker.

Oh, well the black metal band by the same name is pretty cool. EDIT: Conqueror |

Of course neither of them can compare to Brad, he was definitely the best vocalist they had. :p |

Everytime I watch this I wet myself a little. |
Every time I watch that, I laugh at how horrible Norma Jean is live.
And seriously, it's not fucking hard to scream consistently. Those guys seriously just need to spend 15 minutes reading up on how to do it right, and they'd be great. |
Are they really that bad at screaming? Cause I didn't think they were.
|
I think they are pretty awful.

Considering how much more strained they sound live than on recording, and especially how bad Josh sounded at SOTU 2006, yeah. Plus: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=suLQk809xPc |
"thanks for supporting southern rock"
i like the really obese guy sitting on stage on a really flimsy chair. |
MY VOICE IS BLOWN
I CAN'T SCREAM ANYMORE AND NOW I ROLL ON THE GROUND LOOK HOW FAT THAT I'VE GOT my interpretation of their performance of I Used To Hate Cell Phones... from that show. |
Hahahahahahaha
|
I seriously feel so embarassed for Josh Scogin whenever I see a live performance of him.
|

Seems like somebody has hearing issues!
|
I just listened to Skycamefalling 10.21. The vocals were a bit off-putting at first, but I got past that so it was really good.
|
Good man. An Ocean Apart is such a goddamn good aong.
And the vocals actually grow on you, they fit well, and the lyrics and delivery are awesome. btw, Skycamefalling is the band in me avatar. :) |
Yeah, I can definitely see it becoming one of my favourites soon. The instrumental tracks are surprisingly peaceful, which was great.
And that looks like an awesome gig. |
Oh God, UG makes me lawl.
"All of those bands are breakthrough bands, you'll find much better metal that's very similar in time, don't worry." "Breakthrough bands? You listen to metalcore!" |

UG as in Ultimate Guitar ?
God why go speak to those fagggs and Norman Jean have always brought the lulz when they play live |

I meant song and said album, ugh. It's the last song on 10.21. AILD's new album is called An Ocean Between Us. |
Oh, right.
|
Yeah, way to go noob.
