Onion A.V. Club picks its saddest songs. kinda dumb but its mostly alt/indie stuff so you might like to know

Geography 04-27-2007 07:07 PM

There are some good songs on that but none of those are really sad or anything

Glitterati 04-27-2007 07:32 PM

I liked the Leonard Cohen pick. Great song.

Seeing the Ergs tommarow, and the Drunken Cholos, wo are the Queers original line-up before they were called the Queers, and it's their first real show.

It's gonna be a pretty good time.

Concubine 04-27-2007 08:33 PM

i hate you

Boilermaker 04-27-2007 08:42 PM

♥♥♥

Neoteric 04-27-2007 10:21 PM

I was wanting to go see Patti Smith but then I found out tickets were £25 and I wouldn't be able to afford it.

But I'm seeing Battles soon so woo!

br3ad_man 04-27-2007 10:34 PM

I'm seeing Sunn O))) and Boris in a week. It's about the noteworthy show of the month.

Neoteric 04-27-2007 10:39 PM

I wanted to see The Wildhearts but £15 is too much to ask for.

Sunn O)))? Have fun messing up your bowels.

Boilermaker 04-27-2007 10:39 PM

Sick, tell me how Boris is. I'm thinking about getting tickets to see them when they come to the U.S..

br3ad_man 04-27-2007 10:44 PM

I'm hoping they'll do two seperate sets and then one together or something. That'd be pretty sweet. I imagine whoever's opening for it will suck though.

margin0walker 04-28-2007 12:47 AM

man that would be ****ing sick to see sunn live.

definetly tell tell about the show after, k.

I wanted to go to the Sydney show, but I'm not 18 til July :(

Enjoy, tell us all the details. Will be awesome no doubt.

AlienEater 04-28-2007 03:44 AM

I don't particularly like Sunn on record but they'd probably be awesome live

Robert Crumb 04-28-2007 12:44 PM

Ah! We've caught you in your lie.

Neoteric 04-28-2007 02:10 PM

Hi Crumb.

margin0walker 04-28-2007 02:16 PM

Boilermaker 04-28-2007 02:38 PM

hello crumb.

gregulus 04-28-2007 02:55 PM

I can't stand Sunn O))). Boris played here a while back, but I didn't go.

Bukowski 04-28-2007 05:04 PM

I just found out that Sonic Youth are playing in Glasgow the same day I'm going to London to see Slint!

So I'm selling my ticket for Slint in London, and buying the ticket for the Glasgow Slint gig - and now I can see Sonic Youth twice. Fukcing excellent.

ps Sunn O))) are amazing live

perriwinkle 04-28-2007 05:49 PM

thats quite the good deal

br3ad_man 04-28-2007 05:57 PM

Why would you skip out on Slint to see Sonic Youth twice?

I would be so happy if Slint came to Australia.

Bukowski 04-28-2007 06:06 PM

I still get to see Slint. It was a matter of choosing who to see twice, and Sonic Youth are better than Slint so them.

sexymuffin 04-28-2007 06:07 PM

i want slint to come to my home town

br3ad_man 04-28-2007 06:13 PM
