I can't even begin to rate the order of my favorite albums. I know that DSOTM, WYWH, and Meddle are my favorites, and I'm not a real big fan of Animals, but that's about it.

but I still havn't listened to the others except for A Nice Pair.That's ok. I like Lucifer Sam, Matilda Mother and Bike. That IS on ANP isn't it? My stuff is so messed up.

I think Cirrus Minor is enough to put More up there on my list, hopefully the other tracks are as good as this one.

I can never make a set in stone favorite list.. Because I find that there is always something new to discover about pink floyd...its like you can have all their albums..but you listen to it one more time and you notice something or appreciate something a little more.

And I agree with whoever said that the song Saucerful of Secrets off of Saucerful of Secrets isn't the best... It's much better live in my opinion... I downloaded a video of them playing it, and the UmmaGumma version and both have that amazing vocal outro provided courtesy of Gilmour.

As for whoever said they don't really like DSoTM..For a while I thought it's not as good as the others either..But I think its because we may listen to the songs off there too much.. But I think we just lose appreciation for it from time to time.. Take a big break from it for a while..Try not to even think about it. Then come back and you'll be like WHOAAAA.

DSotM gets points for consistancy, as do a lot of PF albums I suppose..

"Let there Be More Light" and "Dramatic Theme".

Yea that's why I'm not sure that my list will stay like that, my opinions of the albums change sometimes. That's basically it though.

And I love the vocal outro on the Ummagumma version of A Saucerful of Secrets. I still get chills when I hear that.

yeah. I want to start playing saxaphone when I listen to some of Pink Floyd's stuff. But even other band, like Mars Volta have extreme sax that's really crazy. i wana do that.

...I really enjoy AHM & Ummagumma when I'm stoned....almost as much as DSOTM... Ummagumma is good for the buzz... I have More but haven't really listened to it yet, MLOR & Division Bell really bum me out cuz to me there's no Floyd without the WATERS. (Learning To Fly is perhaps the only nice Rogerless tune).. The Final Cut is beautiful, underrated, and neglected....I think it's a brilliant album. The concept is whole and anti-war...need I say more? pL&d <3

the first 2 there i don't listen to ever because they really don't entertain me slightly musically, and the same goes for the wall; i can understand peope preferring WYWH to dark side but for me meddle just isn't better then WYWH- i like that 'trio' of dark side, meddle and wywh all equally really.

Opinion: I like Animals the best of all Floyd albums.

It's obviously someone's obionion when they say that because it's in their post. While I try to avoid making statements like "Animals is the best" in my posts, it's still clearly the poster's opinion, not necessarily anyone elses.

Pink Floyd is pretentious. They're pretty good though. Im disliking Dark Side more and more everyday however.
