I've gotten into the habit of using relatively correct capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and grammar that I feel I cannot type nearly as well if I try not to use such.

So, this is really of no consequence, but I was excited so I'll share.

I walked into rehearsal today and my teacher was like "I'm not gonna be here today, we've got a staff meeting. You guys pick some songs, about 40 minutes worth of music. So twenty 2-minute songs or two 20-minute songs... or something in the middle."

well, so I was confused what point he was trying to get across.

long story short, We're getting to put together a record. Absolute free studio time at a local studio to put together some arrangements of songs of our choosing.
Like I said, really of no consequence to you guys, as I'm sure most of you might have had experience making a record, perhaps.... but being [B]asked[/B] to do it and not having to pay for studio time seemed like something to celebrate.
