36896 plays in a week?

That's more than I have total :(

He probably has 3 computers on at the same time with the same last.fm account signed in, and plays music all day everyday just to get his stats up.

You cant have tracks being submit like that. It's spamming, it's bannable. He probably has the shortest applicable tracks on repeat.
Rainfall's biggest tag is Aweful ****.
Aweful isn't a word, making it all the more hilarious.

pate 11-18-2007 09:06 PM

It works to have multiple players scrobbling at the same time.

The Door Mouse 11-18-2007 09:08 PM
People tag bands like Vintersorg and Empyrium as black metal too, which is sad as well.
People have tagged Nest as Power Metal.
EDIT: And Arcturus as Grunge.

Transient 11-18-2007 09:11 PM

Yeah my last.fm sometimes gets tracks scrobbled at the same time if my sister listens to music on the family computer while I'm on mine.

And I calculated it, it's impossible, even with the same song on repeat, to get 23000 plays. ( 7 x 24 x 60 x 60 ) / 45 = 13440 (as 45 seconds is minimum track length for scrobbling I think).

He must be scrobbling on more than one account.

The Door Mouse 11-18-2007 09:14 PM

Also he doesn't have 1 song that was played an extremely huge amount.

Tyler 11-18-2007 09:16 PM

Report him if it bothers you that much. He probably has his iPod going at the same time.

Nothing under 1:30-2:00 ever scrobbles for me.

A friend of mine made a journal about cheaters like a year ago. I'll find the link to it. It's full of lulz.
Seriously, listening to 23,000 tracks of one artist in a week is impossible. I've probably listened to less than 23,000 tracks of my favorite artist in my whole life.
Dude, even I haven't listened to Pink Floyd 23,000 times.

Charizard 11-19-2007 01:26 AM

Mine doesn't update until Monday nights now. Weird.

You also have terrible taste, Mappy. So it's fortunate you haven't listened to them as much. :p

publicastration 11-19-2007 01:53 AM

TTEOTD (Bloodlust) and Orchid are great.

Haven't heard Underoath yet though for some reason.

Charizard 11-19-2007 01:57 AM

Ooh I like the touches of dissonance.

Charizard 11-19-2007 02:02 AM

All of their albums are completely different from one another, but they're all pretty quality, imo. Especially the last three, you'd probably like the first two the most though.

This is them way back in the day, only members in common now are the drummer and the keyboardist.
