I'm liking that list, pretty nice job.

BludgeonySteve 10-02-2004 10:06 PM

Feel free to make any changes.

First list the bands that you want out. Then list replacements.

wanton 10-02-2004 10:12 PM

Out: Kiss
In: Ten Years After

BludgeonySteve 10-02-2004 10:13 PM

no, find some other band to replace.

wanton 10-02-2004 10:14 PM

Styx? Uriah Heep?

BludgeonySteve 10-02-2004 10:18 PM

no, no.

Foghat can be replaced.

Woodstock 10-02-2004 10:20 PM

Zeppelin will = a lot of trouble

wanton 10-02-2004 10:20 PM

What about BoB Marley? Is he counted as classic rock?

BludgeonySteve 10-02-2004 10:22 PM

I don't know. Badmoon would know. He's classic rock enough.

BludgeonySteve 10-02-2004 10:23 PM
Zeppelin will = a lot of trouble
I know but maybe they will get metallica'd in the final poll.

Woodstock 10-02-2004 10:26 PM
I know but maybe they will get metallica'd in the final poll.
Naw, there aren't enough of us who would vote for someone else, we are out numbered. Zeppelin won't be Metallica'd, to many zep posers.

BludgeonySteve 10-02-2004 10:28 PM

Yes, but I don't want to have to deal with 50 posts going "omgz u left zeppelin out u fag!1!1!!". And plus the real point of it is to see what the best bands are. Like the ones that almost make it into the poll.

Woodstock 10-02-2004 10:32 PM

Ok, dont say I didn't warn you though. :)

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-02-2004 10:33 PM

No Roy Harper? You sir have put a tear in my eye........

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-02-2004 10:34 PM

Or Syd Barrett

BludgeonySteve 10-02-2004 10:35 PM

You know the format. Name the band that you would like out and the one that you would like in.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-02-2004 10:37 PM

Bob Marley for Roy Harper I love Bob Marley but hes not Classic Rock

pyro_570 10-02-2004 10:41 PM

I definatly think clasic rock on the rise again, it so messed up to go to Ozzfest and see like a bunch of ppl. with Zeppilen shirts on

Kingofdudes 10-02-2004 10:47 PM
I know but maybe they will get metallica'd in the final poll.
 Metallica'd should be in the dictionary

Good choice on putting Johnny Winters in :thumb: I read an article about him in GW and checked out some of his stuff a few weeks ago.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-02-2004 10:48 PM

Take out Stix for Syd Barrett

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-02-2004 11:37 PM

I downloaded some I still dont see why Cream is so "good" to you.

jpj 10-03-2004 08:44 AM

some people just have different tastes in music. you may like something that no one else in here likes. it's simply a matter of opinion, but you have to give them some respect because whether you like it or not they were all great musicians.

gmoneyguy 10-03-2004 08:49 AM

*cough* clapton *cough*

Woodstock 10-03-2004 08:59 AM

I have no idea, Medopalis. It is all up to rock not roll.

jpj 10-03-2004 09:00 AM

i just hope we dont get bombarded by the "OMGz0Rz LEIK PAIGE(misspelled on purpose) Iz LEIK dA BIZEST"

StreetlightRock 10-03-2004 09:36 AM

Ye gods ive missed out. Erm. Thin Lizzy? or Gary Moores solo Career?

DVG.

BludgeonySteve 10-03-2004 10:33 AM

Yes, I just thought of Thin Lizzy. Thin Lizzy for Foghat

Roy Harper for Marley

Syd Barrett's solo stuff was a crazy old man making a little less than music. I'm putting my foot down.

And plus, we have way too many solo projects/former bands in there already.

Current list... Get in your changes now soon.

RockAndRoll 10-03-2004 11:07 AM

steppenwolf should be in, but I'm not sure who should be out.

BludgeonySteve 10-03-2004 11:11 AM

Ooo I forgot about them. How about we take out blind faith? We already have Cream, Clapton Amd Derek and The dominos.

What about Journey? I know some of you think they are teh suxerz and all but they were pretty big.

lunch998 10-03-2004 11:31 AM

Leave in Blind Faith. Just because Eric Clapton played for them is no reason to take them off the list.

RockAndRoll 10-03-2004 11:33 AM

I'd be fine with taking either of those off.

Badmoon 10-03-2004 11:34 AM

Where's G. Mule?

BludgeonySteve 10-03-2004 11:40 AM

Well then. since we have 101 now we need to get rid of one. And then you can replace a band with G-mule.
