Sweet, I just got the Images and Words Live in Tokyo/Five Years in a LiveTime DVD. I can't wait to watch it.

Treebeard 03-12-2006 05:54 PM

I'm pumped about this new DVD they are coming out with. I hope The Glass Prison is on it!

Lord Abortion 03-12-2006 06:12 PM

I hope Take away my pain is on it, along with Lie and perhaps something like a fortune in lies.

^Dream~Theater^ 03-12-2006 09:42 PM

The Glass Prison or Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence would be nice.

durkadurka 03-12-2006 09:44 PM

Does anyone know here if Dream Theater is coming to Australia anytime soon

Learning To Live (with alternate extended middle jam)
i had never seen a jordan solo spot live until last night. wasnt it just incredible?

and i thought that jam to LTL was awesoem too. they played like la villa strangiato in the middle right?

Petrucci 03-13-2006 12:06 AM

That cover of Sheep was awesome.

Alex 03-13-2006 09:35 AM

im knida dissapointed with the set lists that u guys put up, i was hoping for a galss prison, metropolis and DOE to be on it :( but other than that the set lists will be sick. plus they are comin to toronto = rush cover song like they always do here

Jev 03-13-2006 10:36 AM

Well, when I heard the setlist I was pretty disappointed but when I was actually there I was like :D

Lord Abortion 03-13-2006 10:41 AM
I reckon A Fortune in Lies will definately be on it.
Yeah, I'm sure there will be some songs that haven't been featured on DVDs before.

nowitzki 03-13-2006 10:47 AM

The setlist at LATB only had one song in common with LSFNY, so I'm pretty sure they will try and play as much as possible that is on on either of those two albums.

Jev 03-13-2006 10:48 AM

Mike's backing vocals on LATB are awesome.

Alex 03-13-2006 10:51 AM

LATB? and yah im sure when im sitting 6th row :D i will like the set list to

nowitzki 03-13-2006 10:52 AM

Alex 03-13-2006 10:59 AM

oh ok thanx

Jev 03-13-2006 11:01 AM

You seen it?

Alex 03-13-2006 11:02 AM

yah it is amazing. it was the first time i acutally saw JM do the metropolis solo i was like :amaze: times about 10............million

Jev 03-13-2006 11:02 AM

I was like  When I saw the SOC solo. His fingers hardly move.

ghettoeddo 03-13-2006 01:03 PM

i think those setlists were beter than mine :(
i REALLY wanted about to crash (reprise) and losing time/grand finale, but we got home instead. i love that song, but i would've preferred teh 6 degrees songs.

oh and the glass prison IS on the lists to whoever wanted that. just not for the two california shows. i saw em play it in phoenix and petrucci NAILED that arpeggio solo O_O

nowitzki 03-13-2006 01:23 PM
I was like  When I saw the SOC solo. His fingers hardly move.
The first time me and my brother watched it, during that, and the the solo in ITNOG, we just looked at each other, and were literally like:

Lord Abortion 03-13-2006 01:24 PM

I would prefer Goodnight kiss and solitary shell than the last two 6DOIT songs, though.

temporary 03-13-2006 02:51 PM

Wow, A Fortune Made of Lies off Live in Tokyo with James singing is freakin' awsome. I really hope they play that at the gig I'm going to, Petrucci's solo is ace.

Jev 03-13-2006 04:26 PM

I think they play A Fortune In Lies at every gig. I'm probably wrong though.

Tyr 03-13-2006 04:37 PM

^^
They didn't play it in Stockholm the last time they were here, anyway.

ghettoeddo 03-14-2006 12:15 AM
I think they play A Fortune In Lies at every gig. I'm probably wrong though.
yea you are haha. it's either that or afterlife usually.

i reallllllyyyyy love goodnight kiss. i love how DT can just switch gears so suddenly b/w songs

Captain Quentin 03-14-2006 12:33 AM

what album do you guys think i should get next, ive got TOT, I&W and 6DOIT

ghettoeddo 03-14-2006 01:06 AM

scenes from a memory and then awake. awake may take some getting used to, but almost every song on it is an absolute gem.

Arpanet 03-14-2006 02:02 AM
what album do you guys think i should get next, ive got TOT, I&W and 6DOIT
Awake. Best album ever. I could listen to that album straight through on repeat for the rest of my life and never get bored of it. Scenes From a Memory and Octavarium are excellent as well.

Inkstar 03-14-2006 04:04 AM

Not a big fan of Octavarium here. Not a big one at all.

I can listen to SfaM on repeat for ever. It's awesome. And yeah, I'd probably put Awake behind it.
