good rats 04-19-2005 12:29 AM

Hey guys. It's my birthday tomorrow. I excited. I know I'm getting money from my parents to go towards what ever I want. But I am stuck as to what to save for first, a bass, or a bass head? They are both the same price.

The bass is the Yamaha BB605:

And the head is the Hartke 3500:

My current setup is: Moneterey bass, jaz copy, (is ot in the best condition, fret fell off the other day)
Ross 60w Combo, (alright, speaker rattles a bit, and is only just loud enough for band)
Hartke VX115, (great, but needs a head)

Bedrovelse 04-19-2005 03:21 AM

Hello

Bedrovelse 04-19-2005 03:23 AM

I would go for the bass probably... if it wasnt in bad condition, i would of gone for the head...
i vote bass... :thumb:

Woohoo. Right now I'm actually looking into a Warmoth Gecko 6er. I'm just talking to Fatbandit now about it. He's helping me out as to which electronics and all that to use.

fatbandit 04-19-2005 03:44 AM

good rats 04-19-2005 04:42 AM

That's I'm thinking. Once I get a new bass, I make the crap one fretless. It should be sweet.

Martin, do you know anything about electronics and http://www.warmoth.com. I'm looking into a Warmoth Gecko 5er as my next bass, and I need all the help I can get. If you can help, give me a shout on MSN at dog_shit69@hotmail.com.

DUDE, send pics!

I also found it funny that you, being British, used the Imperial System of measurement. I'm confident with the metric system. :)

Metric System >>>>>>> Imperial System

I second that.

fatbandit 04-19-2005 11:30 AM

Hair is always dealt with in inches...

I use inches anyway. They're actually more accurate I believe. And also, schools suck at teaching them. I can't do weights, metric or imperial... But I play Warhammer (how geeky?) which uses inches. I'm kinda used to it.

Really? I never knew that. Then again, EVERYTHING here is dealt with in inches, pounds, miles, feet, ounces, etc.

Most schools around here teach the bare bones of the metric system and they only apply it to science classes.

**** you, Imperial System!

I second the project thing. I've been doing my business project for a few evenings now, and probably only got a paragraph done!
