fight fair is a word
|
Fight fair should be a banable word.
words dumbass |
I like Fight Fair but come on...
I'm listening to June Paik and I'm hard. |
Meant to say adage
|
June Paik rule. they remind me of mamma, jeg blör... and Jeromes Dream due to their apocalyptic atmosphere.
|
I could see that with their shorter songs, their longer songs tend to remind me of a more post rock influenced Neil Perry.
Love them so much though. |
I just mean the atmosphere, you know? they sound like the world is ending.
have you heard mjb? the BEST band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-3jjdM6aZ4. |
I like MJB, IDK about best band.
And ugh, local emo shows upset me so much. Jumping in place and push pitting? Fucking hipsters. Give me the old local scene back, I wanna see everyone convulsing in place while Harrison Bergeron tears shit the fuck up. |
most emo shows I've been to in Norway have consisted of people standing and doing the emo chest tap and shaking out of control at the loudest parts. it's pretty rad. you can drink a glass of water without people hatexstraightxedgexmoshing into you or whatever.
|
Yeah man, IDK where that full body convulsion went.
|
this is my ultimate emo show I guess: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1AluWkr4YY
|
Pretty siqq.
Best skram show I ever went to was Harrison Bergeron's reunion. That was just awesome. |
I'm not sure what's been the very best. Adorno, Haust, Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson, Dominic and fuck it... A LOT of bands have been absolutely fantastic. the prize winner might just be Manhattan Skyline though.
I just found the whole show is on YouTube. here's the last song they played: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eO2yb3eQcc. BLEW MY MIND. can't believe the guy filming missed when the vocalist climbed the speaker and stage dived from like five meters high and FACE PLANTED in the middle of the crowd, and just kept screaming. |
hahahaha, that's intense.
|

have you heard austere? not really relevant to this thread but it's something you'd be into i think. it's kinda like a posty black metal-ish train wreck at least their latest album fits that description http://www.last.fm/music/Austere |
thread needs moar khayembii communique
|
i was reminiscing about dudefest this year. phoenix bodies played what they said was probably going to be their last show. they ripped so hard. arab on radar was amazing, i didnt "get" them till i saw their live show.
