Symphonies of Sickness is good. I've heard some off Heartwork and Swansong, but I need to give a listen to more of each to give a nice deliberation.

I mean.

Brutal deliberation.

Phaeces, deliberation. And blood.

Swansong is really, really weird. I didn't like it at all.

Heartwork is a really good album though.

i dont really like necroticism. songs get pretty tiring after three or four minutes

I can hear the Goatwhore in the songs I listened t, more Funeral Dirge sound than Haunting Curse, But I dont think they "copied". And even if they did, out of the songs I listened to (just whats on their myspace)...I'll take Goatwhore

I like Heartwork a lot. One of the better melo-death albums IMO.

Has anyone heard Bill Steer's post-Carcass band Firebird, where he does guitar and vocals? They're quite awesome, some blues-rocky stuff. He's a good blues-rock player.

ive been wondering about Spiritual Beggars for a long time. I heard them a week ago but didn't really like the vocals.
and speaking of carcass, i hate most grindcore but reek of putrefaction is a great cd. i think carcass and terrorizer are the onely ones that can do grind right, i dont care what anyone says about Scum being amazing.

I like Nasum a lot for grind.
