Wrong thread!! The new Animosity is pretty cool. |
I never checked out Destroyer 666 based on name, but I haven't really heard mention of them in years. What're they like?
theyre kinda like Impaled Nazarene's newer stuff. Goatwhore kinda copied their style and made it suck alot more, just to give you an idea kind of. |

I was blatantly trying to illustrate how ridiculous this forum has become in that if something is American and has breakdowns, then not liking them is cool and "elite", and that I really don't give a shit that I listen to pussy metal. Besides, did you not see the twinge of humour in my post? God, this forum is fucking ridiculous at this point. Anyway, since the new Deicide is supposed to be more "brutal" than TSOR, I am assuming it will be the best DM album of all time.
i don't give a **** if you like those bands and i see what you were trying to do. but go ahead and explain to me how i am wrong. i need a laugh or two. |
Oh god damn, read back like one page.

No you. |
this is random but what's everyone's favorite song on None So Vile?
orgiastic disembowelment for me.
Graves Of The Fathers |
Symphonies of Sickness is good. I've heard some off Heartwork and Swansong, but I need to give a listen to more of each to give a nice deliberation.
I mean. Brutal deliberation. Phaeces, deliberation. And blood. |
Swansong is really, really weird. I didn't like it at all.
Heartwork is a really good album though. |
i dont really like necroticism. songs get pretty tiring after three or four minutes

And even if they did, out of the songs I listened to (just whats on their myspace)...I'll take Goatwhore |
I like Heartwork a lot. One of the better melo-death albums IMO.
|
Has anyone heard Bill Steer's post-Carcass band Firebird, where he does guitar and vocals? They're quite awesome, some blues-rocky stuff. He's a good blues-rock player.
|

Agreed. "Arbeit Macht Fleisch" is the coolest Carcass song I've yet to come across.
Graves Of The Fathers
Slit Your Guts without contest. |
Phobophile ftw.
|
For NSV I like Crown of Horns the most tbqh.
|
Crown of Horns or Phobophile, but the whole album is great.
|
no, but I'd like to! I'll see if I can find it...
Speaking of post-Carcass bands... Spiritual Beggars, anyone? I haven't heard them yet and was wondering what the best album or song to introduce me to them was...
ive been wondering about Spiritual Beggars for a long time. I heard them a week ago but didn't really like the vocals. and speaking of carcass, i hate most grindcore but reek of putrefaction is a great cd. i think carcass and terrorizer are the onely ones that can do grind right, i dont care what anyone says about Scum being amazing. |
I like Nasum a lot for grind.
|
Me too, Human 2.0 is great.
|
Crown of Horns or Phobophile, but the whole album is great.
|
Yeah that sucks, they are easily my favorite grind band.
|
I don't like Nasum that much tbqh.
|
Terrorizer are very cool. Am I mistaken, or did Pete Sandoval play all those drum beats with only one foot?
yes. |
You like Grindcore but don't like Nasum...
@Txus |
You like Grindcore but don't like Nasum...
@Txus
Yep, I think there are MUCH MUUUUUUUCH better bands in the genre. They are mediocre. |
