i have a question what do people mean when they say "stack" and "cab"?(im refering to amps.)

Stack is a combination of speakers and a power amp and pre amp in two different units. A cab is a speaker enclosure, 2x10, 4x10, 1x15, what have you. A head is a pre amp and power amp. You take a cab and a head to make a stack.

so the cab is that rectangular shaped thing on the main amp with all the controls right? and the dimensions(2x10,4x10,1X15), i dont really get them

The cab is the box with teh speakers. And 2x10 and allt hat means how many speakers tehre are, and the size of them.
2X10=Two ten inch speakers
4X10= Four ten inch speakers
1X15= One fifteen inch speaker.
Etc.

1x15 refers to 1 15 inch speaker while a 2x10 is 2 10 inch speakers and so on as far as bass treble and punch the smaller the speaker is usually more punchy but the brand can add too that too.

So, I think I have made my computer awesome. I've made it so that I can just put WMP on "shuffle", and let it go, and get hours of good music, none of which I object to. And all of my CD collection is almost on it!
