Sup guys, my new china arrived today, but no one was in so it went back to the depot. :(

Theyll keep delivering it but no one will be in until like Friday at the earliest, it will keep going backwards and forwards which sucks. I wish theyd leave it in the porch, my area is extremely safe. Stupid post man people.

I love how people think Americans are the only ones so totally ignorant and completely unwilling to learn a language, when A) it's mandatory to learn a foreign language in most schools and B) I have never met anybody with the means to travel to another country who does not understand that they can't speak english.

I have, however, seen many foreigners attempting just that.

Yes, there are assholes who go to France and think that speaking english very slowly will make them understand. But I have seen more Chinese men angrily gesticulating and screaming in their native language at gas station clerks than I can count on two hands.

You might as well try... just do it at a slow pace or get an audio learning course.
Then you won't suffer from what I call "Cultural Ignorance".

Case in point... to set this up. My parents have been divorced for almost 12 years now, and my dad is an alcoholic. Ok.
So, the other day I was at Panera Bread (a cafe) with my girlfriend (who's Korean) and he called me and was gonna bring me back my automotive safety kit. So he called when he got there and walked in and was like, "hey, wanna see something cool."
He proceeded to pull up his shirt while saying "I'm not being grotesque..." .
He had gotten a tattoo and it was a japanese pronounciation of his girlfriend's name...
So I was thinking, "great... I don't really care."

Then in his infinite stupidity looked at my girlfriend and says "What does it say?"...
I was just thinking... "you ****ing retard... she's Korean, but you don't know that cause you're drunk, and you wouldn't know anyway cause you're a dumbass."

So... the moral of the story is don't be culturally ignorant. It doesn't take much effort.

to the other guys: I think you can open the [View] panel up on the toolbar of your browser. In there should be an option that says [Encoding], select that and it'll expand further and there should be an option that says [More], and somewhere in there you can click Japanese and it'll allow you to see Japanese.
