Okay, so what does this have to do with hardcore?

Breakdowns and the grooooooooooove man...which really have nothing to do with hardcore but everything to do with deathcore...

No dude, the core part means the bands have tangible hardcore influence, Cryptopsy was closer to deathcore when None So Vile came out than they are now.

Deathcore was something completely different then than it was now too.

Except bands like Despised Icon, Animosity, The Red Chord, and Embrace The End all just came out with new albums, and all of those albums have plenty of hardcore parts on them.

Let's see, The Boy Will Drown has hardcore parts. War From A Harlots Mouth has hardcore parts. See You Next Tuesday has hardcore parts. The Red Shore has hardcore parts. With Blood Comes Cleansing has hardcore parts.

Cryptopsy does not.

Listen to the songs I posted and tell me that they aren't core influenced...maybe the influences don't come directly from hardcore but there is parts in those songs that wouldn't be out of place in a song by any one of those bands you just listed...

Not so much...because new Cryptopsy really doesn't sound anything different than Despised Icon.

Except Despised Icon has hardcore riffs.

I'm fighting a losing battle...maybe I'm deaf? But I really can't tell a difference between the new Cryptopsy vocalist and many of the bands who are right/wrong lumped into the "deathcore" genre.
